Einhorn Moves Into the Lead with Queens

Level 13 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
David Einhorn
David Einhorn

David Einhorn raised to 500,000 from the hijack and Phil Ivey called from the cutoff. They went heads-up to a flop of {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Einhorn continued for another 500,000. Ivey called and the {3-Spades} landed on the turn.

Both players checked and the {6-Diamonds} completed the board. Einhorn led out for another 1,300,000 and Ivey went into the tank for nearly two minutes. He eventually made the call and Einhorn turned over {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. Ivey wasn't able to beat it as his cards went sailing to the muck.
