Level 8 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Fedor Holz raised to 120,000 from the hijack and was called by Erik Seidel in the small blind and Justin Bonomo in the big blind. The flop came {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and the action checked around to the {4-Clubs} on the turn.

Seidel led out for 260,000 and Bonomo quickly released his hand. Holz called and the {7-Diamonds} completed the board. Seidel checked this time and Holz fired in a bet of 700,000. Seidel called and Holz flipped over {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a rivered set. Seidel rolled his eyes and his cards went to the muck.

Level 8 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Picking up the action on a flop of {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}, Jake Schindler checked from the small blind and Steffen Sontheimer bet 115,000 from the cutoff. Schindler called, the {6-Clubs} turn fell, and both players checked. The river was the {8-Hearts}, Schindler bet either 450,000 or 550,000, and Sontheimer called.

Dan Smith raised to 110,000 from under the gun, Rick Salomon three-bet to 425,000 from the hijack, and Smith called.

Shakerchi Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 8 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Adrian Mateos raised it up to 110,000 from the hijack and picked up no fewer than three callers in Christoph Vogelsang in the cutoff, Rick Salomon on the button, and Talal Shakerchi in the big blind.

On the {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, Shakerchi checked and Mateos continued for 250,000. Vogelsang let his 30-second shot clock run down to five seconds before announcing a raise to 625,000 and Salomon folded instantly. Shakerchi called and Mateos sent his cards into the muck.

The {Q-Diamonds} on the turn was checked through and a bet of 1,125,000 by Shakerchi on the {3-Spades} river won the pot uncontested, as Vogelsang also elected to fold.

Level 8 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 125,000 from the button and Steffen Sontheimer called from the big blind.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Sontheimer checked to Badziakouski who bet 75,000. Sontheimer check-raised to 230,000, Badziakouski called, and the {3-Clubs} turn fell. Sontheimer bet 400,000, Badziakouski called, and the {8-Hearts} river completed the board.

Both players checked and Sontheimer tabled {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for sixes and fours. Badziakouski, though, showed down {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for sevens and fours to win the pot.

After that hand (and returning to the table), Matthiew Siegal informed us of a kings vs aces hand, where Siegal lost with kings to Badziakouski's aces.

Level 8 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

After defending his small blind against a raise by Stephen Chidwick, Dan Smith checked the {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop out of the small blind and Chidwick bet 200,000.

"Can I please see your stack?" Smith asked and Chidwick moved away his hand to reveal three black T$500,000 chips along with a few other smaller denominations. Smith called and the {A-Diamonds} fell on the turn, which brought another check from Smith. Chidwick made it 450,000 to go and Smith called.

The {7-Hearts} river completed the board and Smith checked the third street in a row. Chidwick moved all in for 1,080,000 and Smith used one time bank. Down to five seconds, Smith announced the call and Chidwick rolled over the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} for top two pair. Smith only had {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and took a hit to his big stack.
