Extra Bets for Wong

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Jerry Wong bet from under the gun and got called in two spots after the first pull. The player in the big blind drew three, Wong took one, and a third player took two. Wong bet again and the player in the cutoff accidentally put in a half raise. It was ruled to be a full bet and Wong made it three bets after the big blind folded. The cutoff called and both players patted.

Wong's final bet was called and he won with {6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}{a-}.

At the same table, Nikolai Yakovenko has amassed a big stack of about 60,000.

Negreanu Extracts Value

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

With the action caught after the second draw, Daniel Negreanu was betting. His opponent contemplated and called.

Negreanu changed one while his opponent stood pat.

However, it was Negreanu who was pulling the strings. He bet again and his opponent talked himself into calling.

"Eight-five," Negreanu announced, turning up {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

"Good bet," was the reply from Negreanu's competitor who sent his cards to the muck.

Deeb Keeps Raking Them in

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

On the first draw, Shaun Deeb and Scott Seiver both drew one. Deeb bet, Seiver raised and Deeb called.

Everything was repeated on the second draw as both players took one apiece and Deeb bet-called again.

Hastings Scores a Double KO

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Brian Hastings
Brian Hastings

A-5 Triple Draw

Mike Ross was all-in pre-draw, facing off in a three-way pot against Brian Hastings and another player. There was 9,100 in the middle and Ross and Hastings both drew one while the other player took two.

They checked for the side pot and all players changed one. Hastings bet in position and called off for 2,000 total, trying to bust two players.

Hastings had made {A-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{3-} and patted while Ross and the other player both tried to improve, drawing one.

Ross then observed that he was drawing dead, having kept a seven in his hand. He eventually made {A-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{3-}. The other player rolled over a seventy-six and Hastings notched the double knockout.

Ohel Back Where He Started

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Randy Ohel went bust earlier and took a seat on his reentry in Amazon Tan. After that table broke, Ohel drew the exact seat he busted from earlier.

Things are off to a better start for him this time as he played a pot wherein he check-raised after the second draw against a player on the button, who called. Both players patted and checked and Ohel took showdown with {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{a-}.

Seiver Drops Four-Bet Pot

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Scott Seiver opened button and got three-bet by Alex Simma before Shaun Deeb called the bets. Seiver raised it back and it went three ways to the first draw, where Seiver and Simma were pat and Deeb took a card. Seiver kept the lead and stayed pat with Deeb dropping out before the end when he couldn't improve, but Seiver couldn't beat the pat {6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}{a-} of Simma.
