Esther Taylor
Esther Taylor

The start of Esther Taylor's day hasn't been going too well. She had lost most of her chips before the start of this hand. She opened with a raise under the gun and Daniel Alaei called from the big blind.

The flop was {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and all the money got into the middle with Taylor's short stack.

Alaei: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Taylor: {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

The board completed with the {K-Spades} and the {7-Diamonds} and Taylor earned a double up with her better kicker and two pair. Taylor is now right around 35,000 while Alaei has had a much better start to the day and sits around 175,000.
