Elezra Takes Three-Quarters

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

With around 60,000 in the middle of the table and the board showing {10-Hearts}{J-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, action checked around to Calen McNeil and he put out a bet. Nick Schulman thought for a while before he folded but John Monnette and Eli Elezra called.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and Monnette checked this time. Elezra bet. McNeil called. Monnette thought for a little while but eventually folded. Elezra showed his {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the nut low and a straight while McNeil only had {A-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for two pair and the nut low. With that, Elezra collected three-quarters of the pot.

Talarico Bricks Massive Draw to Bust

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Jared Talarico was all in before the flop when the betting action was capped with Matthew Kelly in late position and Julien Martini on the button still to act. Kelly bet the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop and Martini called before the {9-Hearts} turn and {5-Spades} river were checked through.

Martini rolled over {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{X-}{X-} briefly, while Talarico had the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a busted low and wheel draw. Kelly showed his {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a full house and scooped the pot to eliminate Talarico as a result.

Ramos Misreads Hand; Scoops Yakovenko

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Nikolai Yakovenko raised from early position and Felipe Ramos called out of the big blind. On the {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, Ramos checked and Yakovenko bet. Ramos raised and picked up a call. Ramos then bet the {3-Diamonds} turn and was called before the duo checked the {7-Diamonds} on the river.

Ramos announced two pair and rolled over {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, which left Yakovenko somewhat confused as he checked his cards, revealing the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Ramos only then realized that he had misread his hand and had just one pair of fours as well as the nut low. That still ended up scooping the pot for the Brazilian, though.

Woodward Sticks Around for Now

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Matt Woodward had just chopped to remain on a tiny half a big bet and the very next hand brought a raise by Jean-Robert Bellande in the cutoff. Woodward called all in from the button and the blinds got out of the way.

Matt Woodward: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Jean-Robert Bellande: {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The board came {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Woodward almost quadrupled up his tiny stack.

You Know What Else Has Four Wheels?

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Perry Friedman
Perry Friedman

Catching the action on a flop of {9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} Jose Paz-Gutirrez was first to act in the small blind. He put out a bet and Perry Friedman called to his right. Mike Matusow called in the cutoff and Robert Stevanovski called on the button.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and this time Paz-Gutirrez checked and Friedman bet. Matusow called, as did Stevanovski and Paz-Gutirrez.

On the {5-Diamonds} river, all four players checked.

Friedman: {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{J-Spades}
Matusow: {A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Stevanovski: {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Paz-Gutirrez: {A-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

By the turn, only Matusow and Friedman had the wheel, but by the river, all four players made it and each chopped both the high and low pots.

"I don't think I've ever seen a pot where four players all chop everything," Friedman said after the hand.

Bronstein Eliminated by Benyamine

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Noah Bronstein had hung around with a short stack for quite some time and eventually got it in with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}. David Benyamine looked him up with the {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} after the money had gone in on a flop of {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. The {Q-Diamonds} turn and {6-Hearts} river were of no help and Bronstein was sent to the rail.
