Hesp Showing Early

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante

The player under the gun raised to 1,400 and got a call from Riyaz Abdulla in the hijack and John Hesp in the cutoff. The big blind also called.

The flop came {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. It checked to Abdulla who bet 2,500 and Hesp min-raised to 5,000. The other two players in the hand folded and Abdulla folded also.

In true John Hesp fashion, the 2017 final tablist asked Abdulla if he wanted to see and Hesp turned over {a-Hearts}.

"I wasn't bluffing!" he said to the table.
