"History" Between Reard and Dyer?

Michael Dyer opened to 100,000 and Alexandre Reard called in the small blind.
Reard checked the 
flop and Dyer bet around 70,000. Reard raised to roughly 260,000. Dyer then three-bet to 500,000 and Reard quickly folded.
"There's got to be history behind that!" said tablemate Alexander Gross marvelling at the hand he'd just witnessed.
