Sakhno Takes From Seidel

Level 1 : 75/150, 0 ante

Picking up the action on the {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} turn, Erik Seidel in the big blind and Oleksandr Sakhno in early position invested 700 chips each. Seidel then checked the {J-Hearts} on the river and Sakhno bet 2,050 in the last hand before the break. Seidel gave it some thought and called, but mucked when he was shown the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a set of tens by Sakhno.

Gordon Vayo

Gordon Vayo was involved in a three-way pot with Thomas Swensen and another player. It checked to Vayo in the hijack on the {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} board and he bet out 2,200. Swensen called from the big blind and the player on Vayo's right folded.

The {K-Diamonds} completed the board and Swensen check-called a chunky 6,500 bet from Vayo. Vayo opened up {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} and Swensen flashed {A-}{K-} and the pot went to Vayo.

Steven van Zadelhoff

On the turn of a board {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, James Hundt checked over to Steven van Zadelhoff, who bet 5,000 into a pot of around 10,000. Hundt called and the {5-Hearts} on the river ended up check, check. It was van Zadelhoff that showed first, rolling over his {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}, and that won the pot.

"Glad I didn't put in the fifth bet. If I didn't lose kings to aces in the Main Event last year, I might have," Hundt remarked.
