Nia Wins Three-Way All-in, Eliminates Song

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

Michael Nia raised to 1,000 from the button. The player in the small blind three-bet shoved for 7,600. The big blind called. Nia tank-called.

A flop of {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. The big blind moved all in. Nia called, putting at risk his last 11,500, and the cards were tabled.

Michael Nia: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Bonggi Song: {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

The turn came the {5-Hearts} and the {7-Hearts} river completed the board, giving Nia a straight to scoop the pot, eliminating Song.

Seidel On the Rise Again

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel lost a big set-over-set pot earlier against Diego Martinez, but he's chipping up nicely again and starting to head back to where he started before that pot.

In the latest pot, there was a {4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop and Seidel called a 3,500-bet from the player in the big blind. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Seidel called another bet. This time the bet was 5,500.

His opponent checked to him on the {Q-Diamonds} river and Seidel put out a bet of 15,000. He was called and Seidel opened up {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a flush. His opponent mucked and Seidel's rail started celebrating the victory.

Zimmerman Takes Pelham Out, Almost Back to Starting

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

Dwayne Pelham opened to 5,000 from late position and Joshua Zimmerman called from the big blind. The flop fell {3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Zimmerman checked to Pelham who moved all in.

Zimmerman made the call and the players turned over their hands. Pelham showed {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for top pair and Zimmerman showed {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for jacks with a higher kicker.

The {3-Spades} came on the turn and Pelham would need help, but it would not come as the river fell the {6-Clubs}. Zimmerman took down the pot and eliminated Pelham in the process of doing so.

Stacey Sullivan raised to 900 from middle position and Sam Soverel called from the big blind. They saw a flop of {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Soverel checked. Sullivan bet 800 and Soverel check-raised to 2,500.

Sullivan called and the dealer burned and turned the {10-Hearts}. Soverel led out with a bet of 7,000 and that was enough to get a fold from Sullivan.

Kubialiak Scoops a Healthy Pot on the River

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

The board read {5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}, the action was checked to Tomas Kubialiak in the cutoff who bet 2,000, Randall Emmett called from the button, the small blind called, and Ron Fetsch raised to 6,000 from early position.

Kubaliak made the call, Emmett made the call, and the small blind folded. The river fell a {7-Clubs} and Fetsch checked to Kubaliak who fired 12,000 into the pot. Emmett thought for a while but hit the fold button and Fetsch followed in his steps by letting his cards fly into the muck.
