Lafleur Doubles After Friendly Flop

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Sammy Lafleur raised on the button and called a three-bet to 48,000 from his neighbor in the small blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Lafleur called a bet of 50,000. On the {4-Clubs} turn, the money got in with one player jamming and the other snap-calling, though we didn't see who was the aggressor.

Sammy Lafleur: {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Small blind: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The {j-Hearts} river was safe for a Lafleur double and he collected an additional 158,000.

Bergman Clips Antonius

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}, Josh Bergman and Patrik Antonius check to Nageswaran Sarangapani in the cutoff who bets 27,000.

Bergman called, as did Antonius, and then the {2-Hearts} is checked through on the turn.

The river landed the {Q-Diamonds}, and Bergman bets out 55,000. Antonius called, and Sarangapani folds and states he had {K-}{J-}.

Bergman tabled his {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for a set, and Antonius nods his head and mucked.

Rettenmaier Busts to Chen

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Marvin Rettenmaier
Marvin Rettenmaier

The ten-high board was all but rushed away while Marvin Rettenmaier was waiting for a payout runner to arrive and the chips of the German were shipped over to table neighbor Andrew Chen. Both hole cards were still visible, Rettenmaier's {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Chen's {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

According to Chen, Rettenmaier had opened from under the gun and four-bet all in for 29 big blinds with his ace-queen suited, Chen looked him up with the superior kicker and that ended up vital to award the pot to the Canadian.

Grutka Scores Lucky Double Through Vieira

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

With more than 100,000 already in the middle and the flop showing {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}, Amauri Grutka bet 200,000 out of the small blind with 11,000 behind and that sent Joao Viera in the cutoff in the think tank. After more than three minutes, Vieira moved all in and Grutka called it off.

Amauri Grutka: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Joao Vieira: {A-Spades}{2-Spades}

The {Q-Hearts} turn improved the Brazilian, and the {7-Clubs} on the river was a blank to let Grutka double and take a big chunk out of Vieira's stack.

Bennis: {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Zhuta: {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Big Blind: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The dealer spread a {7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Spades} board and the big blind more than doubled up, while Bennis was sent to the rail.

Once the action got back to Kanit, he quickly called.

Steven Prentky: {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Kanit was ahead with his overpair and would stay ahead with the {7-Diamonds} and {6-Hearts} run out. Prentky was sent to the payout desk with a min-cash as just 1,000 players remain.
