Amin Doubles Through Kaplin

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Henrik Hecklen raised to 110,000 and Kelly Minkin, Jaime Kaplan, and [Removed:502] all called before the action was on Ahmed Amin in the small blind. Amin three-bet to 625,000 and only Kaplan called.

Heads-up to the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop, Amin moved all in for 1,150,000 and Kaplan called.

Ahmed Amin: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Jaime Kaplan: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

Amin was ahead with ace high and also had the nut flush draw. Kaplan had outs, but when the turn came the {k-Diamonds} and the river the {3-Spades}, Amin's double was confirmed.

Barrell Doubles Through Chun

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Philip Chun was in middle position and had made a big bet on the {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop against Mason Barrell on the button, with {5-Diamonds} having turned. The pot was now bloated to about 1.7 million and Chun announced he was all in for Barrell's last 1.3 million. Barrell double-checked his holding and quickly called with {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Chun showed a worthless {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, sending a double as the {2-Spades} hit the river.

"History" Between Reard and Dyer?

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Michael Dyer opened to 100,000 and Alexandre Reard called in the small blind.

Reard checked the {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop and Dyer bet around 70,000. Reard raised to roughly 260,000. Dyer then three-bet to 500,000 and Reard quickly folded.

"There's got to be history behind that!" said tablemate Alexander Gross marvelling at the hand he'd just witnessed.

Miles Cuts Out the Four-Bet

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

From the hijack, Tony Miles opened to 110,000 and Clayton Fletcher three-bet the small blind to 275,000.

Ognjen Sekularac cold-called in the big blind, and with the action back on Miles, he cut out a four-bet amounting to 1,260,000.

Fletcher hesitated for a little then mucked, as did Sekularac, and Miles dragged the pot to move to nearly 3.5 million in chips.

Set for Hecklen Secures His Double

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Andres Jeckeln raised to 125,000, and only Henrik Hecklen called from the big blind. Both players checked on the {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, and when the turn came the {j-Clubs}, Hecklen bet 390,000. Jeckeln made the call, and the river brought the {8-Spades}. Hecklen moved all in for 1,150,000 and Jeckeln made the call.

Hecklen tabled {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} for a set and Jeckeln was made to show his losing hand: {j-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Odd Play Leads to an Altman Win

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Brian Altman opened to 110,000 from middle position and Paulo Goncalves called from the big blind. The flop came {q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Goncalves checked to Altman who continued for 90,000. Goncalves called and the {a-Spades} landed on the turn.

Goncalves checked again and Altman checked behind. The river brought the {8-Clubs} and Goncalves just open-folded his cards. The dealer was a bit hesitant but still brought them into the muck. Altman shrugged his shoulders and flipped over {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for just nine high, but it earned him the pot.

"What a sick hand," Scott Davies said as the table had a bit of a laugh.

Lowery Doubles Through Ziskin

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Alexander Ziskin bet 115,000 on an {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop and Randy Lowery shoved all in for 680,000. Ziskin made what looked to be a reluctant call after some thought and indeed his {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} was smashed by {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

The turn and river were {k-Diamonds} and {10-Clubs} and Lowery doubled.
