Dyer Chips Up Through Tang

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Michael Dyer opened from early position and Daniel Tang called in middle position.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Dyer continued for 110,000. Tang called. The turn was the {6-Spades} and both players checked.

Dyer checked the {5-Spades} river and Tang bet 380,000. Dyer quickly called and Tang turned over {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for queen-high. Dyer showed {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for two pair and took down the pot.

Federspiel Eliminated by Miles

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Steven Federspiel
Steven Federspiel

On a board of {8-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{9-Spades} with roughly 800,000 in the middle, Tony Miles bet out 275,000 from the small blind before Steven Federspiel raised to 1,100,000 from the big blind.

Miles thought long and hard for several minutes before moving all in for roughly 4.1 million. Federspiel quickly called having roughly 1,020,000 behind.

Federspiel: {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Miles: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Miles had turned a straight when Federspiel turned two-pair, and when the river landed the {K-Spades}, Federspiel would be eliminated.

Campo Leads at the Main Feature Table

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Peter Campo opened to 140,000 from middle position and Andres Jeckeln flat-called on the button. The flop came {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Jeckeln check-called a bet of 165,000 from Campo.

The {j-Clubs} landed on the turn and Jeckeln checked again. Campo fired a bet of 375,000 and Jeckeln stuck around to see the {8-Clubs} pair the board on the river.

Jeckeln checked for the third time and Campo checked behind this time. Campo flipped over {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Jeckeln mucked his cards.

Massey Eliminated by Robinson

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Richard Robinson opened from early position with a raise to 135,000 and Jared Palmer called behind. Jack Duong called as did Ryan Phan on the button and Sharukh Shaw in the small blind. From the big blind, Ralph Massey then moved all in for 780,000. Robinson then moved all in over the top for about four million. Palmer folded quickly as did Duong but Pham tanked a bit before releasing his own hand. Shaw folded as well so it was on to a showdown.

Richard Robinson: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Ralph Massey: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

Massey's brother Aaron had come over to sweat him as the {A-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} flop fell, giving Massey no help. The {J-Spades} on the turn was no help either, nor was the {5-Hearts} on the river. That meant that Massey would be sent to the rail as Robinson moved over five million in chips.

Rude Exits After the Break

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded around to Bart Lybaert in the cutoff, and he raised to 135k. Adam Rude moved all in from the small blind for 500k and Benjamin Pollak four-bet to around 1.6m. Lybaert quickly got out of the way and the remaining two players tabled their hands.

Adam Rude: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Benjamin Pollak: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Board: {8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Pollak took a massive lead when he hit a set on the flop, but he was still cheering for his opponent.

"Ten of hearts on the turn! One time!", said, Pollak, as Rude stood up from his chair.

But the seven of diamonds on the turn cemented Rude's fate, and Pollak improved to a full house on the river for good measure.

Rude departed with $57,010 for his efforts after lasting just one hand of the final level of the day.
