Ansher Eliminated by Hecklen

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Jeremy Ansher
Jeremy Ansher

Down to what appeared to be 925,000, Jeremy Ansher moved all in from early position and the action folded all the way to Henrik Hecklen in the big blind. The Dane checked his cards and called instantly. The camera crews rushed to the table for the showdown and the following cards were tabled:

Jeremy Ansher: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Henrik Hecklen: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop changed nothing much, but Ansher picked up a huge sweat with the {5-Spades} turn. A blank {J-Spades} followed on the river and that sent Ansher to the rail in 89th place.

Luca Rivers a Flush to Eliminate Rughani

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded around to Ivan Luca in the small blind, and he raised to 240k. Vivek Rughani was in the big blind with a stack worth 1.4m and moved all in. Luca made the call, and Rughani saw he needed help from the board.

Ivan Luca: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Vivek Rughani: {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Board: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Rughani hit the ace of the flop to take the lead, but Luca was not dead in the hand after he picked up extra outs with a flush draw. The turn gave Rughani two pair and was set for a double-up until the river came the {9-Spades} to give Luca the pot.

Rughani banked $77,695 for his run.

Mosbock Doubles Through Lowery

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Mario Mosbock
Mario Mosbock

Randy Lowery raised in middle position and called the shove of Mario Mosbock, who had 410,000 on his left. Lowery had only {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and was completely smashed by {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. The board ran out {5-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, so Mosbock doubled up with kings up.

Koren Takes One From Rean With a Big River Bet

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Nirath Rean opened with a raise to 175,000 from the cutoff and Shannon Shorr called in the small blind. In the big blind Artur Koren called as well.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and both blinds checked to Rean who put out a bet of 285,000. Shorr folded while Koren called.

The turn was the {A-Clubs} and Koren led out with a bet of 480,000. Rean called to see the {7-Hearts} come on the river.

On the river, Koren led with another bet, this time making it 1,200,000. Rean thought for a good while but eventually decided to fold his hand and Koren was able to take down the pot with no showdown.

Sharma Takes From Bernabeu

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

With a big pot of 1.6 million to the river of a board {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, Samuel Bernabeu faced a bet of Nishant Sharma in the big blind, who had made it 850,000 to go. Bernabeu was in the think tank and the clock was called. The Spaniard, who had raised and bet the flop before calling a check-raise of Sharma on the turn, eventually called and Sharma announced: "I got lucky on the river" while turning over his {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for bottom two pair.

In the next hand, Mike Cordell raised to 175,000 and Bernabeu three-bet to 500,000 from one seat over. Cordell called and checked the {J-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop and Bernabeu took down the pot with a continuation bet.
