Jan Mach Eliminated in 40th Place ($189,165)

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Jan Mach
Jan Mach

Jan Mach shoved all in for 1,860,000 in early position and Aram Zobian made it 3.5 million in the small blind. Artem Metalidi thought for about a minute and then shoved all in from the big. Zobian was in there immediately for what looked to be about 10 million.

Aram Zobian: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Artem Metalidi: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Jan Mach: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

"Good game, guys," Zobian said confidently.

However, the {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{j-Spades} brought him nothing. He asked for a ten for a sweat but the {5-Clubs} was a brick. The {7-Hearts} river likewise and Metalidi's stack was counted down and determined to be 10,435,000.

Shannon Shorr: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Samuel Bernabeu: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The flop and turn came {5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. "Nice playing with you guys," said Shorr as he got up from the table before the {k-Diamonds} came on the river. Shorr takes home $189,165 for his 39th place finish in this year's Main Event.

Henrik Hecklen Eliminated in 38th Place ($189,165)

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Henrik Hecklen
Henrik Hecklen

Out of the cutoff, Henrik Hecklen moved all in for his last 2,315,000 and Artem Metalidi in the small blind asked for a count. Metalidi then leaned over to see the stack of Jeff Trudeau in the big blind before raising to 10 million, Trudeau quickly surrendered his big blind.

Henrik Hecklen: {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Artem Metalidi: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop improved Hecklen and Metalidi asked for a six. Instead, the {K-Diamonds} on the turn gave him a flush draw. The final card was a six, and it was the {6-Diamonds}, improving Metalidi to a flush and sending Hecklen to the rail in 38th place for a payday of $189,165.

Ricardo Souza
Ricardo Souza

Peter Campo opened the action with a raise to 350,000 and action folded to Martijn Gerrits who raised, making it 1,100,000. Action then folded to Ryan Phan on the button and he cold four-bet to 2,550,000. In the small blind Ricardo Souza then moved all in for 1,310,000. Action folded back to Campo who folded behind. Gerrits thought for several minutes before he moved all in over the top for right around 8 million and Phan snap-folded, bringing Souza and Gerrits to a showdown.

Ricardo Souza: {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Martijn Gerrits: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{3-Clubs} which kept Gerrits in the lead the whole way with his pair of kings. Souza's fall was completed and he was eliminated from the tournament in 37th place. For his run in the Main Event he will collect $189,165.

Labat Scoops a Massive One to Take the Chip Lead

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Antoine Labat
Antoine Labat

Antoine Labat opened with a raise to 475,000. Peter Campo called from the cutoff and Andres Jeckeln called from the big blind.

The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades} and all three players checked to see the {4-Diamonds} on the turn. There action checked to Labat who put out 675,000. Campo folded and Jeckeln check-raised, making it 2,200,000. Labat called.

The river was the {8-Spades} and Jeckeln led for 3,500,000. Labat just called. Jeckeln showed his {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a flopped set, but Labat had {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for a bigger flopped set. That left Jeckeln with just over 3 million while Labat vaulted over 30,000,000 chips.

Jason Gooch Eliminated in 36th Place ($230,475)

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Jason Gooch
Jason Gooch

Kao Saechao raised to 450,000 from early position, and when the action folded to Jason Gooch in the cutoff, he moved all in for 3.4m. The action folded back around to Saechao, and he made the call.

Kao Saechao: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Jason Gooch: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Board: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}

Gooch took the lead on the flop when he spiked a queen, and the turn was safe for him, but the river brought the ace of diamonds to give Saechao top pair and eliminate Gooch in 36th place for $230,475.

Peter Nghia Le Eliminated in 35th Place ($230,475)

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Peter Nghia Le
Peter Nghia Le

Peter Nghia Le raised to 400,000 from early position and Nicolas Manion three-bet to 1,400,000. It folded back to Le who four-bet all in for 4,500,000 and Manion called.

Peter Nghia Le: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Nicolas Manion: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

There was an ace on the flop coming {10-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Spades} and restricting Le to the three remaining queens in the deck or running hearts, as any jack would give Manion a straight. The turn {5-Spades} and river {9-Hearts} didn't help him and he was eliminated in 35th place.

Nishant Sharma opened for 425,000 and Aram Zobian made it 1,225,000 in the cutoff. Sharma came back with 3,550,000 and Zobian moved all in for about 10 million effective. Sharma flicked in a chip right away to call but Zobian had the goods: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. Sharma turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and stood up.

The dealer delivered a board of {4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, so there wasn't much sweat as Sharma hit the rail.

Andres Jeckeln
Andres Jeckeln

Andres Jeckeln opened with a raise to 450,000 and he was called by Hari Bercovici in early position and Martijn Gerrits in the small blind.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} and action checked to Bercovici who put out a bet of 500,000. Gerrits called before Jeckeln moved all in for 1,600,000. Bercovici quickly folded while Gerrits called.

Andres Jeckeln: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}
Martijns Gerrits: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} which gave Gerrits even more outs with a flush draw now and the river was the {J-Diamonds} completing a straight flush for Gerrits. That meant that Jeckeln would be sent home in 32nd place to collect $230,475 for his run.
