River Rewards Olisar

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

On a board reading {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades} Ryan Olisar had raised his opponents 1,500 bet to 8,000. His opponent thought for a while before tossing in the call.

Olisar showed the {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a rivered set, which his opponent responded to with a shake of the head and an audible "Ouch!" as he mucked his hand.

Jaka Chipping Up

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

On a dangerous looking board that showed {8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} Faraz Jaka and his opponent played it carefully and checked it down after the river.

Jaka showed {a-Hearts}{8-Spades} for top pair, which was the winning hand as his opponent mucked allowing Jaka to continue to build his stack early.

Smith Shoves on Beresford

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

Just before the break, the board read {4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades} with around 6,000 in the middle already.

Dan Smith had checked from mid-position while Conor Beresford had an orange 5,000-value chip in front of him as a bet in the hijack. Smith took a bit of time before he decided to raise to 9,500 and Beresford called.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and now Smith shoved, having Beresford covered. Beresford tanked for a while, counted out his stack and then reluctantly decided to let his hand go.
