Sarmiento Doubles Through Bicknell

Steven Sarmiento raised all in for 29,000 from the button and Kristen Bicknell called from the big blind with {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, leading Sarmiento's {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, giving Sarmiento a queen-high straight to double through Bicknell.

Rast With a Commanding Lead

Level 17 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

On the river of a completed board of {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, Brian Rast called a bet of just under 20,000 by Kane Kalas and the latter tabled {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, which Rast had beat with {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

Soon after, the turn showed {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Rast check-called a bet of 4,300 before doing so again for 14,600 on the {3-Clubs} river. Kalas turned over {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a flush and won some chips back.

Schemion Goes Runner-Runner

Ole Schemion limped in on the button and Thomas Boivin opted to see a flop. The flop came {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Boivin check-called a bet of 2,500 from Schemion.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Boivin led out for 2,600. Schemion called and the {2-Clubs} hit the river. Boivin sized up with a bet of 11,000 and Schemion raised to 35,000. Boivin instantly called and Schemion showed {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a flush, enough to beat Boivin's {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

Addamo Caught Bluffing; Soverel Advances

Level 16 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

With plenty of chips in the middle and the completed board showing {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}, Sam Soverel bet 7,000 and Michael Addamo moved all in for 56,400 in total. Soverel spent a few minutes in the think tank and eventually made the call.

"You win," Addamo immediately announced and showed {9-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a busted straight draw. Soverel held {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for trips eights and advanced to the round of 32.

Bicknell On the Brink

Kristen Bicknell limped in on the button and Steven Sarmiento checked his option. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Sarmiento checked to Bicknell who bet 1,600 and Sarmiento called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and both players checked to the {7-Clubs} on the river. Sarmiento announced a bet of 3,500 and Bicknell raised to 17,000. Sarmiento folded and Bicknell extended her lead.

Lachezar Petkov raised to 2,600 and Manig Loeser three-bet to 9,500, which Petkov called. Loeser continued for 8,500 on the {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop with 35,000 behind and received a call before the second barrel on the {5-Diamonds} turn won the pot uncontested.

Aces Propel Schulman to Round of 32

George Wolff raised to 3,500, Nick Schulman three-bet to 10,000, Wolff four-bet shoved for about 60,000 and Schulman called.

Wolff showed {a-Spades}{j-Spades}, in rough shape against Schulman's {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

The board came down {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, safe for Schulman to eliminate Wolff.

Gerrits Doubles Through Lakota

Level 16 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Martijn Gerrits was all in for 29,900 with the {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and had a flip against the {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} of Jan Lakota. The {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop didn't change anything yet, but Gerrits improved on the {a-Diamonds} turn. The {7-Spades} river even gave the Dutchman two pair as he doubled to half the stack he started with in this round.
