Three for Katz

Level 35 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Cary Katz limped in from the hijack, Tommy Nguyen called on the button, Brett Apter completed, and Anatolii Zyrin checked. Katz bet 45,000 on a {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop and only Zyrin called. The turn was the {9-Clubs} and Zyrin check-folded to a 100,000 chip bet.

Nguyen won the next hand from Shintaro Baba, who check-folded a nine-high flop after defending his big blind. Katz was next to raise and Baba called the small blind. The Japanese player once again check-folded a low flop.

In the subsequent hand, Kenna James raised to 65,000 under the gun, Katz called, Zyrin called, and Adrian Scarpa called. James bet 90,000 on a {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop, Katz made it 200,000, and James was the only caller. On the {8-Clubs} turn, James checked, Katz bet 350,000 and that was the end of the hand.
