Ciaravino Eliminates Mosbock Early

All the chips got in the middle between [Removed:502] and Michael Ciaravino on a board of {a-}{k-}{q-}{j-}{9-}. Mosbock showed {a-}{q-} and Ciaravino showed him {k-}{k-} for the set of kings. Ciaravino now with a massive early chip lead early on table 409 and eliminates the first player from his table.

Thompson Makes the Right Call

On a flop of {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, [Removed:510] checked from the big blind. Alan Thompson, on the cutoff, bet 7,000. Trofimov check-called.

The turn came the {k-Clubs} and Trofimov check-called another bet of 18,000 from Thomspon.

The {a-Clubs} filled up the board. Trofimov checked once more. Thompson threw in a bet of 46,000. Trofimov check-raised to 46,000. Thompson gave it some thought, then made the call.

Trofimov showed {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Thompson revealed {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a set of jacks to take down the pot.

Godfrey's Aces Don't Get Value

Mengqi Chen raised to 6,000 from mid-position. Eric Bunch, on the button, called. Christopher Godfrey, in the small blind, three-bet to 27,000. Chen folded. Bunch called.

The dealer fanned a flop of {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} that was checked through to the {7-Spades} turn and to the {k-Hearts} river. Godfrey and Bunch checked once more. Godfrey tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and Bunch quickly mucked.

Timofeev Doubles Up Early

Level 18 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Anatolii Zyrin in early position limped and it folded to David Worden in middle position who raised to 18,000. The Russian player Denis Timofeev three-bet to 47,000 from the small blind. Zyrin folded to Worden who made the call.

The flop came {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Timofeev bet 35,000, but Worden went further, moving all in to put Timofeev at risk for his remaining 129,000 chips. Timofeev, who won the World Series of Poker $1,000 Double Stack Turbo event last year for $199,586 and his first WSOP bracelet, made the call.

The turn {3-Diamonds} and river {9-Clubs} were no help to Worden and Timoffev's pocket queens held to give him an early chip advantage.

Backdoor Flush for Walton

Ivan Zhechev raised to 5,000 from early position. Adam Walton, in middle position, called, along with Nicolas Manion on the cutoff.

A flop reading {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} was dealt and Zhechev checked. Walton bet 7,000, which led to a call from Manion but a fold from Zhechev.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs}. This time, Walton opted to check. Manion fired 12,000. Walton check-called.

The {j-Clubs} filled up the river and Walton checked once more. Manion threw in a bet of 20,000, but Walton, seemingly unafraid, check-raised to 90,000. Manion added the remainder to call and Walton turned over {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a backdoor flush and Manion tossed his cards in the muck.
