O'Dell Scoops Against Campbell

Level 21 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

In a five-way limped pot to the {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop, the action checked to Robert Campbell on the button and he bet, which only Frankie O'Dell in the small blind and Nick Guagenti in the big blind called. The {2-Spades} turn was checked to Campbell once more and his bet was called only by O'Dell.

After the {k-Hearts} river, O'Dell bet and Campbell reluctantly called to get shown {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for the nut straight by O'Dell.

Up and Down for Ahmed

Frankie O'Dell raised and Owais Ahmed re-raised. O'Dell called.

Ahmed bet on the {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and the {10-Spades} turn and O'Dell called both times. The river was the {2-Spades} and Ahmed bet again. O'Dell folded.

On the next hand, Ahmed opened and Ed Vartughian defended his big blind. Vartughian check-called a bet on the {7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop and both players checked the {k-Clubs} turn.

The river was the {q-Clubs} and Vartughian bet. Ahmed was seriously conflicted; counting out the chips to call before putting them back on his stack. Double checking his hole cards, picking the chips up again before putting them big on their stacks. Eventually, he called.

"Flush," announced Vartughian showing {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} and he took down the pot.

Schwartz Doubles Through Mizrachi

Level 21 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Robert Mizrachi raised on the button and Jake Schwartz three-bet in the small blind. Mizrachi made the call and Schwartz got his remaining few chips in after the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop.

Schwartz tabled {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Mizrachi held {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. The {2-Clubs} turn and {k-Spades} river run out favored Schwartz and while they tried to figure out who wins the pot, Mizrachi joked "he gets four quarters."

Deeb and Guagenti Win Pots

Level 21 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Frankie O'Dell raised and Owais Ahmed called in the cutoff. They checked down the board {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{j-Spades} and O'Dell tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for two pair to win the pot.

Ahmed raised and Shaun Deeb called, O'Dell defended the big blind. The {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop was checked to Deeb and his bet won the pot.

Nick Guagenti then won a small pot off Ahmed with {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} to chip up some more.

O'Dell then took on Ahmed and the latter check-called all the way on a {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{a-Spades} board. O'Dell showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a live ace-deuce and the low, Ahmed had the high pot with {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

In the last hand of the level, Jake Schwartz raised in the cutoff and Shaun Deeb called from the big blind. Deeb checked the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop and Schwartz bet to force an instant fold. Right after the remaining nine players headed into a 10-minute break.

Frankie O'Dell opened and called a raise from Jake Schwartz. The flop was {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Schwartz check-called a bet.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and Schwartz check-called again. The river was the {10-Clubs} and Schwartz check-folded to be left with just two big bets as the level draws to a close.

Ken Aldridge Eliminated in 10th Place ($27,287)

Level 20 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Ken Aldridge
Ken Aldridge

Ken Aldridge started the day as the chip leader, however, he missed out on a spot on the final table after he was first left short when his two pair ran into the wheel of Robert Campbell on a board of {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

One hand later, David Benyamine limped in and so did Aldridge in the cutoff. Ed Vartughian raised the button and Benyamine called, as did Aldridge. On the {7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Benyamine check-folded to a bet of Aldridge and the raise of Vartughian, Aldridge called all in for 45,000 in total.

Ken Aldridge: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Ed Vartughian: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Vartughian already had the nut low and plenty of outs to deal the final blow. The {q-Diamonds} turn changed nothing yet, but the {4-Diamonds} on the river gave Vartughian two pair. Aldridge was eliminated in 10th place for $27,287 and the remaining nine players will now redraw to a single table.

Straight for Deeb

Level 20 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Shaun Deeb and Robert Mizrachi tangled in yet another pot and this time Deeb got the best of it when he turned the nut straight on a board of {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Deeb showed {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Mizrachi mucked.
