Level 19 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Richard Ashby
Richard Ashby

Frankie O'Dell raised under the gun and Richard Ashby raised from the big blind and was all in.

Frankie O'Dell: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Richard Ashby: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Ashby flopped top pair on the {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop but the {3-Diamonds} improved O'Dell to a wheel. Ashby was already out of his seat and leaving the tournament area as the {8-Hearts} hit on the river.

Frankie O'Dell
Frankie O'Dell

Frankie O'Dell raised the button and Yarron Bendor came along from the big blind. One further bet each went in after the {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop, the {3-Spades} turn and {a-Diamonds} river were checked.

Bendor tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a pair of kings and O'Dell had that beat with {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} to jump above a million, while Bendor dropped below half a million.

Level 19 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Jake Schwartz
Jake Schwartz

Jake Schwartz chopped with Robert Campbell and remained aggressive to see Shaun Deeb come along. Schwartz bet the turn and river of a board {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Spades} and Deeb reluctantly called on the river.

Schwartz tabled {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Deeb won the pot with the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-}.

"I had the nut Badugi," Schwartz joked with a big smile on the face.

The remaining 14 players are on a 15-minute break.

In the final hand of the level, Jake Schwartz, who had doubled through Ken Aldridge previously, chopped with Shaun Deeb.

Schwartz had {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a low on the board {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts}, Deeb had a full house with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

"Nice hand Andrew," Aldridge said.

Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

On the three-way flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}, action checked to Robert Campbell and he bet, Mike Matusow moved all in and Ken Aldridge called. Campbell announced a raise and Aldridge made the call.

On the {k-Spades} turn, Aldridge check-called a bet and did so again on the {k-Clubs} river.

Campbell turned over {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for the nut flush and Aldridge had the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}. Matusow tabled his {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and missed out on a straight and low draw to become the 15tth place finisher.

Mike Wattel

Mike Wattel was all in from the big blind with three other players still in the hand.

The flop {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} checked to Robert Slezak who bet and Richard Ashby called. The turn {q-Spades} was checked and Ashby checked the {8-Spades} river.

Ashby tank-called and Slezak showed {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the nut low and a pair of sevens. Wattel's {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} went into the muck and Ashby flashed what looked like {a-}{k-}{j-}{4-} and mucked.

Level 18 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Robert Campbell bet through a board of {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and tabled the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for aces full. Shaun Deeb briefly flashed his cards and mucked, prompting at least one "wow" from another player at the table while Deeb was left with his head shaking.

Vartughian Scoops

Level 18 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Ed Vartughian opened, Shaun Deeb called and Andrew Yeh defended his big blind.

Yeh checked the {7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop and Vartughian bet. Deeb called, Yeh raised, and the two players both called.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds}. Yeh bet and Vartughian called, with Deeb folding.

The river was the {k-Hearts}. Yeh bet and Vartughian called.

Yeh showed {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Vartughian initially showed {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} for a set of queens, before realising he had {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} to go with it and had backdoored a straight.
