Lost Player Finds His Way Home

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The announcement came from the raised podium in the middle of the Pavilion Room.

Coming back from the break, a man in a green shirt had forgotten what table he was at, which is easy to do in a cavernous space with more than 100 tables and 1,000 poker players. His table mates immediately recognized him, however, and waved him over to his waiting stack of 120,000 chips.

The Pavilion Room applauded, and this once-lost grinder is back in the game.

Battle Between the French

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Julien Sitbon opened to 11,000 and Francois Tosques quickly moved all in for 65,000. It folded back to Sitbon who snap-called, showing {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}.

Tosques, holding {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} was in desperate shape for a double up and found no miracle on a board {3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Spades}, eliminating him from the tournament.
