Smith Delivers KO

Level 3 : 200/400, 0 ante

PLO

With 1,000 in the pot, three players made it to the {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop where Bradley Smith checked from the small blind. Jeff Madsen checked from under the gun and the third player fired 1,000. Smith responded with a check-raise to 3,400 and Madsen paused for a while before leaving the contest. Smith's raise had just covered the third players' stack and he called for the rest so the cards were turned up.

Smith: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Opponent: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Smith had his opponent crushed and the {3-Hearts} and {a-Clubs} runout left him ahead.

Ware Trending Up

Level 3 : 200/400, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Ron Ware had been almost downed, playing only 1,100 in chips at one point, but he seems to have hit his stride in recent minutes. Ware was just seen getting a ton of value with overpair to the board in limit hold'em.

Ware raised from the second position and he found a caller in the big blind. The board of {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} saw Ware fire on every street and he earned calls all the way to the end where he showed the best hand with {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

Kelsall Avoids Split

Level 3 : 200/400, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Andrew Kelsall had paired aces on fourth street and he was facing Joseph Haddad whose board showed two low cards when the action was caught on fifth street. Both players were in for a bet and Kelsall fired his Broadway-heavy board on sixth, seeing Haddad pairing a four. Kelsall got called and the river was checked as Haddad shook his head, having bricked his low draw.

Kelsall: {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} / {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Haddad: {7-}{6-}{x-} / {4-}{2-}{10-}{4-}

Value for Madsen

Level 3 : 200/400, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Jeff Madsen had a pair of nines and three hearts on his board and he fired both sixth and seventh street, earning calls from Bradley Smith on both occasions.

Madsen: {3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} / {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Smith: {x-}{x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Madsen started with split deuces and he was able to get some value from the nines up.

O'Hara Has Aces Up

Level 3 : 200/400, 0 ante

Stud

Jyri Merivirta completed and one player behind him called before Ian O'Hara made it two bets. All three players went to fourth street where O'Hara's right-hand neighbor led out after pairing sixes. Only O'Hara called and he called two more bets on fifth and sixth. The last street saw O'Hara's opponent check and O'Hara fired, earning a call.

O'Hara: {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} / {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

O'Hara's two pair, nines and aces, was good and he scooped the sizeable pot.

Hastings Draws an Eight

Level 4 : 200/400, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Three players went to the first draw with 2,000 in the pot. Brian Hastings was in the small blind, drawing against opponents in the cutoff and on the button. They took two apiece and Hastings led out, receiving two calls.

Hastings peeled one on second draw while his competitors both still needed two. Hastings fired again, finding only one caller.

Hasting patted the last draw while his opponent changed one. No bets were made and Hastings took it down with {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-}.
