Madsen Wins Three-Way All In

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

NLH

Shane Giese shoved his 12,000 or so from the hijack and Tuyva Felt called in the cutoff. Jeff Madsen found a competitive hand on the button and he reraised all in for 22,700. Felt called and all players turned up pocket pairs.

Giese: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Felt: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Madsen: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Madsen had the best of it and his victory was confirmed when the dealer ran out a board of {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Giese was eliminated while Madsen more than doubled. Felt continued with around 82,000.

Livingston Continues to Sit Near the Top

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

PLO

Sokchheka Pho opened to 4,000 from the cutoff and Alexander Livingston defended his big blind. The dealer fanned out {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} on the flop and Livingston checked.

Pho put a bet of 6,500 into the middle and it was quickly called by Livingston. A {10-Spades} peeled off on the turn and both players checked to see the {4-Clubs} river card.

Livingston reached for chips and then threw in 15,000. Pho took a brief second and mucked his hand, sending yet another pot to the red-hot Livingston.

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Chris Vitch raised, Matt Glantz reraised, and Vitch called. Vitch took one and Glantz seemed surprised. "One? Uno?" he asked and then he peeled two. Vitch bet, Glantz called and they continued to the second draw.

Vitch stood pat and Glantz drew one and they did the same on the last draw. Glantz called a bet after the second draw but he folded to Vitch's last bet on the river.

Loikkanen Doubles Through Sotiropoulos

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

PLO

Georgios Sotiropoulos made it 3,200 on his button and Arto Loikkanen potted from the big blind. Sotiropoulos matched the 10,200-raise and they went to the {7-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Spades} flop where Loikkanen announced pot, betting all in for 19,100. Sotiropoulos tanked for over a minute and then slid a pile of chips towards the middle of the table.

Sotiropoulos: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Loikkanen: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Both players flopped top pair with the top kicker but Loikkanen also had an open-ended straight draw. The {7-Hearts} turn changed nothing but Loikkanen hit his straight on the {10-Clubs} river and doubled.

Lord Wins Against Serda and Hellmuth

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Three-way to the flop, Phil Hellmuth bet on {9-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and both Patrick Serda and Kristan Lord called. Lord fired on the {q-Diamonds} turn and he received two calls as well. The {6-Spades} river was checked and Lord tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} to scoop the pot. Hellmuth showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}, frustrated that he bricked his flush draw.
