Hand #76: Curcio raised to 175,000 from the hijack and that was enough to pick up the blinds and ante before the players were sent for another 15-minute break.

Gustavo Darosamuniz Eliminated in 8th Place ($45,100)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Gustavo Darosamuniz
Gustavo Darosamuniz

Hand #53: Francis Anderson raised to 175,000 from the early position and Gustavo Darosamuniz three-bet to 550,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to Anderson who decided to shove with the bigger stack. Darosamuniz snap-called.

Gustavo Darosamuniz: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Francis Anderson: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for Anderson to flop the Broadway immediately while the rail gasped.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} which gave Darosamuniz some extra outs as any ace or queen would keep him alive as he would then improve to a full house. A king on the board would let them chop the pot.

The river completed the board with the {5-Spades} to not help Darosamuniz at all as he was eliminated in eighth place for $45,100.

Hand #51: Jared Koppel raised to 170,000 from the cutoff and was called by Gustavo Darosamuniz on the button and Joe Curcio in the big blind. The flop came {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}, Curcio checked, Koppel bet 225,000 and both Darosamuniz and Curcio folded.

Hand #52: Roman Korenev raised to 180,000 from the early position and Curcio called in the small blind. Dong Sheng Peng three-bet to 580,000 in the big blind and Korenev responded with a shove after having considered his options for a while. Curcio folded immediately but Peng dived into the tank. After a while, Peng mock-slapped his own hand before folding which made almost the whole table laugh.

Shortly after, Curcio showed his phone to Peng on which he had pulled up Google Translate. Peng laughed. The rest of the table asked him what he had asked Peng via the translate function.

"If he had jacks," Curcio shrugged which incited more laughter from the table.
