Negreanu Doubles Through Hoyt

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} / {x-}
Bruce Hoyt: {x-}{x-} / {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} / {x-}

A player placed the bring in with a deuce and Daniel Negreanu completed. Bruce Hoyt called and the player in the bring in folded. Negreanu kept calling on all streets until he bet 700 himself on seventh to go all in. Hoyt called but he was visibly not happy about it.

Negreanu opened up {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a baby flush and a low and that won him the pot as Hoyt opened up {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

Miller Left With Less Than a Big Bet

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Christopher Miller: {x-}{x-} / {k-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} / {x-}
Gregory Yohn: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}

Gregory Yohn brought in with a deuce in front of him and the only player interested was Christopher Miller on his left. He completed and Yohn called when the action folded back to him.

Miller bet again on fourth with king-four and Yohn called again. Yohn caught an ace on fifth to take over the betting initiative, betting on fifth, sixth and seventh. Miller called it off every single time.

Yohn opened up {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} in the end for a diamond flush and Miller mucked his cards.

Berg Scoops Against Zolotow

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Lawrence Berg: {x-}{x-} / {2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{a-Spades} / {x-}
Steve Zolotow: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} / {x-}

Lawrence Berg brought in for 500 and Steve Zolotow completed by betting 1,500. Berg called and they went heads-up to fourth street. Zolotow check-called on all but fifth street where they both checked.

Berg showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} when he said he had at least aces up and it stayed at that when he opened the {4-Spades} as his last card. Zolotow showed {4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} for two pair as well but they were lower.

Neither of them had a low hand and Berg scooped.

"Jacks and a low," Pimlott said.

Sotiropo and Daly Scoop; Levi Eliminated

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

There was a five-way pot played with two players at risk of elimination. David Levi got his chips in before fourth and Georgios Manousos Sotiropo got his chips in on fourth. The other players involved were Jason Daly, Alan Ledford, and Filippos Stavrakis.

It was Daly who took the side pots with {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} / {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{6-Spades} playing aces up and Sotiropo won the main pot with {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} / {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for trip queens.

The other players showed their cards but mucked them right away to make it easier on the dealer. Levi was eliminated showing {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} as up cards.
