"Scooper-Dooper" for Wroblewski

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Anna Wroblewski

Anna Wroblewski: {x-}{x-} / {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} / {x-}
Matthew Schultz: {x-}{x-} / {3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} / {x-}

On fourth street, Anna Wroblewski was all in against fellow short stack Matthew Schultz. Wroblewski opened {5-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a pair of fives and Schultz showed {2-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for two pair.

By sixth street, Wroblewski had locked up half the pot with her seven low but needed to improve to beat the top pair of her opponent. Schultz showed {9-Clubs} and failed to improve and with an open-ended straight draw to go with her pair of fives, Wroblewski could scoop and double up.

"Scooper-dooper!" she said, turning over the {5-Spades} for trip fives and a low to double up.

Jan Stein: {x-}{x-} / {5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}

Yuval Bronshtein brought it in, Anna Wroblewski completed, and Jan Stein called. Bronshtein made it two bets, and both Wroblewski and Stein called. Bronshtein bet fourth street, and was called by both of his opponents, and he bet again on fifth, where only Stein called. Bronshtein bet sixth street, and Stein went into the tank.

"I take this one, you take the next one," Bronshtein told Stein with a grin. Stein responded with a raise and replied, "How 'bout I take this one, you take the next one?" Bronshtein called, then tank-called one final bet on seventh street after asking Stein, "You got a flush?"

Stein turned over {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a flush, and this year's $1,500 NL 2-7 Lowball Draw bracelet winner Bronshtein was left with just 2,000 chips, which he lost in the next hand to Jose Paz-Gutierrez.

Michael Mizrachi: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts} / {x-}
Elias Hourani: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} / {x-}

Elias Hourani completed and Michael Mizrachi raised. Hourani called. Mizrachi greeted fifth street with a "Boop!" and Hourani check-called a bet.

"I'm thinking of a card," said Mizrachi, who was clearly in a playful mood with the chip lead. Hourani check-called down Mizrachi and he showed {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a six low and a seven-high straight and scooped the pot.

Michael Mizrachi: {x-}{x-} / {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} / {x-}
Martin Sawtell: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} / {x-}

A short while later Mizrachi bet on fourth, fifth and sixth street against Martin Sawtell before check-calling on the end. Sawtell showed {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a full house and Mizrachi mucked.
