Vitch Hits a Wheel Against Ohel

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Razz

Randy Ohel: {x-}{x-} / {5-}{3-}{j-}{k-} / {x-}
Chris Vitch: {x-}{x-} / {a-}{a-}{8-}{2-} / {x-}

In the break, Randy Ohel and Chris Vitch had discussed how difficult it was to bluff Ohel and just now they clashed in a hand of Razz. Ohel check-called bets on fifth and sixth, and he also checked seventh. Vitch bet and Ohel tried to engage his opponent in table chat.

"It looks like a jack would be good. We just talked about how I don't fold," and Ohel called shortly after.

Vitch announced a wheel and showed {5-}{4-}{3-} to scoop the pot.

Chait Forces Fold From Schulman

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Nick Schulman: {x-}{x-} / {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} / {x-}
Craig Chait: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}

Nick Schulman completed with an ace and Craig Chait made the call. Schulman check-called a bet on fourth and took the betting lead on fifth and sixth. Chait called both times and Schulman also bet seventh. Chait raised and Schulman immediately leaned back in his chair.

"This is probably just a fold," he added in table chat and indeed sent his cards into the muck.

Koral and Mueller Chop

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Greg Mueller limped in middle position and Phillip Hui completed from the small blind as Tom Koral checked his option.

The flop landed {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and action checked through to reveal the {k-Diamonds} on the turn. Hui checked, Koral bet 20,000, and Mueller called.

Hui folded, and the river fell the {2-Spades}. Koral bet and Mueller called.

Koral tabled his {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a full house, and Mueller tabled his {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} for the low.

Chait and Marsters Chop

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Dario Sammartino had the bring-in and Chip Jett completed. Tim Marsters raised to 20,000 and Craig Chait made it three bets to go.

David Brookshire re-raised to 40,000, and Sammartino called. Jett folded, and both Marsters and Chait called.

Sammartino led the betting on fourth and fifth streets and was called by each player. On sixth, Sammartino bet and Marsters and Chait called as Brookshire folded.

Sammartino: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} / {x-}
Marsters: {x-}{x-} / {4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} / {x-}
Chait: {x-}{x-} / {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} / {x-}
Brookshire: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} (folded on sixth)

Action checked round on seventh, and Marsters revealed his {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for an eight-low. Sammartino tabled his {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a worse eight-low, and when Chait revealed his {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, he took the high to chop the pot with Marsters.

Sternheimer Runs Out of Chips and Insults

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Philip Sternheimer
Philip Sternheimer

Omaha Hi-Lo

Philip Sternheimer had already vaulted out of his seat in early position with his cards tabled, and he faced Marco Johnson in the big blind.

Sternheimer held the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Johnson showed {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The board came {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and that spelled the end for Sternheimer.

"Thanks for that," he grinned and added "now I am out of insults."
