Negreanu Chips Up

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu arrived late for Day 1c of The Big 50, but he's up to 220,000 chips after winning a big all in.

Negreanu pushed the last of his chips in with the board reading {j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, and his opponent called. Negreanu was on the winning end of a cooler, with his {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} beating his opponent's {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Negreanu's trip jacks with a better kicker puts him in a comfortable position, as he now has more than 50 big blinds in his stack.

Deeb Moves into the Pavilion Room

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Shaun Deeb has finally been moved out of the overflow room and he's now seated in the Pavilion Room. His chip stack has dwindled to 95,000, but he did chip up in a recent hand.

With the flop reading {2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, the player in the big blind checked, and Deeb put in an 8,000-chip bet from under the gun. The big blind called, the turn came the {k-Hearts}, and both players checked through.

The {8-Hearts} arrived on the river, the big blind checked, and Deeb bet 25,000 and got the fold.

Berkey Avoids the Fireworks

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Matt Berkey limped for 4000 in early position, the cutoff raised to 16,000, the small blind three-bet all in for 45,000, and the big blind came over the top for a four-bet shove, putting all of her 200,000-plus chip stack in the middle.

Berkey folded against all of this action, and eventually it was just the blinds going head to head, with the at-risk player doubling up. His {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} hit the set on the {4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts} to take down the big blind's {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

Gabin's Grabbin' Stacks

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A player raised to 13,000 from middle position, and Jarred Gabin three-bet to 45,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to the middle position player, who four-bet shoved for 171,000, and Gabin called.

Opponent: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Jarred Gabin: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

It was a big flip, and Gabin added some extra outs on the {2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop with a wheel draw. He drilled the {a-Diamonds} on the turn, and the {2-Hearts} river sent him the big pot and the late night elimination.

Knadler Gets A Late Night Double

Level 13 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Andrew Knadler jammed for 102,000 from under the gun, and a player in middle position called to put him at risk.

Andrew Knadler: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Knadler's kings would hold up on a {4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} board for the double.
