Hands #90-93: Double Up for Mash

Level 38 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Howard Mash
Howard Mash

Hand #90: Richardson limped the small blind and big blind Mash checked. On the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, Richardson checked, Mash bet 2,100,000, and Richardson quickly raised to 9,100000 which set Mash, with 7,000,000 behind, all-in. Mash called, showing both of them to be on a diamond draw. Mash's was higher with {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and ahead with queen high but Richardson's was paired with an up and down straight (flush) draw: {9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

The turn: {3-Diamonds}. Mash's rail went crazy; he noted he only had to fade two outs in the deck (the straight flush completers for Richardson]. Fade he did; the river was the {4-Hearts}.

Hand #91: Fontaine got a walk. A reset after all that drama.

Hand #92: Richardson raised to 2,000,000 first to act, McNurlan (bb) called. On the {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop McNurlan checked and Richardson bet 1,000,000 - this was enough for him to take the pot.

Hand #93: Jean-René Fontaine open jammed 13,900,000 and the others folded.
