Lee Eliminates Kitsios

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised to 6,000 from the small blind and he was promptly three-bet by Paul Lee in the big blind to 30,000. Georgios Kitsios moved all in from middle position for his remaining amount of about 70,000.

It folded back around to Hellmuth who went on a mini-rant about what he was about to fold before laying it down. Lee immediately called the all in and turned over {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} which was dominating the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} of Kitsios.

The run out brought a little sweat as three hearts appeared on a {5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} run out before a blank {7-} secured the Greek's elimination and Lee pulled in new chips as Hellmuth looked on glad that he did indeed fold.

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Quoc Le was seen pulling in a large pot. Table-mate Kenny Nguyen was commenting how Le was down to 15,000 in chips not much longer than an hour ago and has now risen to one of the larger stacks in the whole room.

Caldwell Takes It All

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Brandon Caldwell shoved all in from early position. A player in middle position asked for a count, and when the dealer confirmed 67,500 he then shoved all in behind. Action then folded around to the player in the small blind who also shoved, but was the shortest stack of the three.

Brandon Caldwell: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Middle Position Player: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Small Blind Player: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts}, which kept Caldwell's overpair in the lead and eliminated both players since he had them covered.

Laplante Eliminated by O'Neill

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Ryan Laplante
Ryan Laplante

Ryan Laplante was seen walking away from the table as his flush draw did not get there against the top pair of his opponent, David O'Neill. Laplante's {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} fell to the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} on a board that ran out {4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Hallaert Takes Out Opponent

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

On a board that read {q-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} Kenny Hallaert bet 21,500. His opponent thought for a few moments before shoving all. Hallaert snap called and turned over the {k-Spades}{9-Spades} for the flush.

Clearly disgusted, his opponent threw his cards face down as the river came the {a-Diamonds}. Because it was an all in, the hand of the beaten opponent was turned up to reveal {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} as he walked away from the table and Hallaert collected a big haul.
