Linse Chipping Up

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Preflop action folded around to the player on the button and he shoved all in. The player in the small blind folded, but Cristian Linse made the call from his big blind.

All-in Player: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Cristian Linse: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{10-}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}, pairing Linse's ten-kicker on the flop, which was enough to send his opponent to the rail.

Bicknell Makes River Call

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Kristen Bicknell (from yesterday)
Kristen Bicknell (from yesterday)

On a board that read {2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, Kristen Bicknell was facing a river bet of 75,000 from her opponent.

She seemed torn over the decision and took several moments while staring her opponent down. Eventually she did make the call. Both players were hesitant to show their cards, her opponent showed {6-}{6-} and in response Bicknell quickly turned over the {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for the winning pair.

Ladies Saved on the River

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action started when the under-the-gun player raised to 13,000 and the player in the next seat over three-bet shoved his remaining 41,500. It then folded around to Mikhail Patish, who made the call from the button. With action back on the original raiser he went into the tank for about a minute before he folded his hand.

All-in Player: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Mikhail Patish: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop was not a good one for Patish's queens, but a great one for the all-in player, as was the {2-Hearts} turn. However, things changed on {q-Clubs} river, which sent the pot to Patish and his opponent to the rail.

Ortiz Takes One Out

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After a player in middle position moved all in for his last 70,000 in chips, Alberto Ortiz Such, from two seats over, moved all in behind, and the remaining players got out of the way.

Alberto Ortiz Such: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
All-in Player: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, which sent the all-in player to the rail and added a nice little bump to Ortiz's stack early on Day 2.

Ivey Powers Out Opponent

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a flop that read {7-Clubs}{a-Spades}{4-Hearts} Joseph Galazzo bet 14,000 after it was checked to him by Phil Ivey. Ivey then raised to 45,000 which Galazzo called.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds}. Ivey scoped out the Galazzo's stack before putting in a chunk of chips that was enough to put Galazzo all in.
Galazzo thought for about ten seconds before folding his hand and Ivey added more chips.

Panyak Survives All In

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

In an already gargantuan pot of over 300,000 in the middle the flop read {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Maxim Panyak was all in, while Virtus Davis was involved in a side pot with another player.

The turn was the {j-Clubs}. The third player in the hand moved all in for his remaining 130,000. Davis wanted a count and eventually determined that he was pot committed and made the call.

Davis was hoping for a diamond the river as he showed the {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Panyak showed {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} while the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} was shown by the third player.

The river was a blank {2-Clubs} to give Panyak a double up and greatly damage Davis's previously large stack as he also lost the side pot.

A call of clock was heard, Thomas Middleton had moved all in on the river with the board reading {k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Carlos Vasconcelos was deep in the tank contemplating the shove. The floor came over to start the countdown clock on Vasconcelos but before reaching the end he decided to fold and showed Middleton an ace.

Middleton showed {j-}{j-} to confirm that Vasconcelos had made the correct fold.
