Yorra Gives Some and Gets Some

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In the first hand, Matthew Yorra shoved all in from under the gun, which was followed by an all-in shove from Patrick Lindner for less. The players table their hands and Lindner saw that he was ahead with his overpair.

Patrick Lindner: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Matthew Yorra: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

The {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop was a good one for Lindner, but things changed for the worse when the dealer fanned the {4-Spades} on the turn. However, Lindner's despair was short-lived because the dealer fanned the {j-Hearts} on the river.

Lindner doubled-up after the hand, but Yorra was left with just 55,000 behind and in the big blind. The very next hand action folded around to Kevin Song on the button and he raised. The small blind folded, but Yorra called off his remaining 15,000.

Matthew Yorra: {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Kevin Song: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}, which was safe for Yorra's hand and got him some of his chips back.

"Final Table Celebration" After King on the River Cracks Aces

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In a pre-flop all in, the situation looked dire for Miguelangel Salvador as his {a-}{k-} was in deep trouble against the {a-}{a-} of Jie Fu.

The flop provided some hope as it came {10-}{k-}{5-}. The turn was an {8-} but the river completed the stunning comeback for Salvador when another {k-} rolled off.

Salvador yelled in celebration, attracting several looks from around the room as Fu stood up unable to believe it.

"That's a final table celebration sir and you are nowhere close yet" said the floor after the outburst of noise which garnered some laughs from around the other tables.

Salvador clutched at his heart, still feeling the adrenaline from the binked king and apologized to Fu who shook his hand, as the chips were counted out to confirm that Fu was slightly covered to eliminate him from the tournament.

Smiljkovic Doubles With King-High

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Daniel Smiljkovic moved all in from under the gun for his last 90,000. Action then folded around to Blake Vita in the small blind, and he three-bet shoved. The player in the big blind folded and the two remaining players then tabled their hands.

Daniel Smiljkovic: {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Blake Vita: {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}, and the king-high of Smiljkovic was good, which secured his double-up.

Ace-Queen Spills Two Ace-Kings, Eliminates Two

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Patrick Harshbarger had just eliminated two players and taken a significant amount from a larger stack.

The board read {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Harshbarger's {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} reigned supreme over the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} of one all in player and the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of the larger stack player. Zhang Yang was also bested in the hand when his {10-Spades}{9-Spades} was no good and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Spati Makes Mandavia Think

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Action was picked up on a board reading {q-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, and Ankush Mandavia had just checked over to Michael Spati, who then put out a bet of 125,000. Mandavia thought for a few moments, called and then checked again on the {7-Diamonds} turn. Spati, who's remaining stack was almost identical to Mandavia's, then shoved all in, which sent Mandavia deep into the tank, where he stayed for almost two minutes before he eventually released his hand.
