Helouin Can't Be Hooked

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Paul Kerrigan opened on the button with a raise to 5,600, David Helouin three-bet to 20,600 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Kerrigan four-bet jammed for 31,400, Helouin called.

David Helouin: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Paul Kerrigan: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Kerrigan was able to pair his ace on the {10-Spades}{k-Spades}{a-Clubs} flop but this also gave Helouin a broadway straight draw.

The {8-Clubs} on the turn was no help and he needed to hit a queen on the river as a jack is no longer an option as that would give Kerrigan a straight.

Helouin couldn't hit as the river fell the {9-Spades} and he doubled up Kerrigan.
