Hench and Zaichenko Clash; Ryynanen Eliminated

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Andrey Zaichenko made it two bets from early position and big blind Zachary Hench called to defend his big blind.

The flop fell {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Hench check-called a 15,000 bet from Zaichenko.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Zaichenko fired another time after Hench checked. He had to put in 30,000 now and Hench asked how much Zaichenko had behind. The answer was 24,000 and Hench continued with a fold.

Finland's Sampo Ryynanen busted out of the tournament on one of the other tables.

Battle of the Blinds Results in a Pot for Pharo

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Mark Pharo limped from the small blind, Scott Abrams pushed in two bets, Pharo called and the flop came down {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Hearts}.

Pharo check-called a bet from Abrams and a {4-Clubs} peeled off on the turn. Both players tapped the table to see a {k-Diamonds} fall on the river and Pharo then pushed in a bet. Abrams thought long and hard but in the end, he threw his cards into the muck, shipping a pot to Pharo.

Todd Gozur
Todd Gozur

Patrick Leonard in the big blind, Joseph Aronesty in the hijack, and Todd Gozur in the cutoff all had two bets in the middle before the {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop was dealt.

It checked to Gozur and he bet 12,000. Leonard called and so did Aronesty. The {q-Spades} was rolled off the deck on the turn and Leonard lead out with a bet of 24,000. Aronesty got out of the way but Gozur wanted to see a river.

The river was the {4-Clubs} and Leonard checked to Gozur. Gozur bet 24,000 and that was enough to push Leonard out of the pot and scoop it all.
