Alan Boston was regarded as one of the best stud players in the world in the late 2000s, but he hasn't been seen at the WSOP in a decade. His last WSOP cash came in 2009, and much of his $312,065 in career earnings has come in stud, mixed games and other poker variants outside of no-limit hold'em.
Boston recently told PokerNews that he's offended by the current era of the WSOP, which is why he hasn't been seen in the halls of the Rio in the past 10 years.
He came back this year to visit friends in Las Vegas, and decided to play some stud tournaments along the way. He sits at 230,000 chips at the moment, still very much in contention for his first WSOP bracelet.
The action was on fifth street when Matt Grapenthien led out and was called by Paul Volpe. Volpe called another bet from Grapenthien on sixth street and then took over on seventh. Grapenthein called and Volpe tabled 
for a flush. Grapenthien mucked a face up as Volpe scooped in the pot.

After betting and getting called on fourth street, Mikhail Semin put in another bet on fifth street and got raised by Scott Seiver. Semin made the call, and led out on sixth, with Seiver calling.
Semin checked-called on the final street, and Seiver showed

The action was on fourth when John Hennigan fired in a bet and Eli Elezra called. Both players checked sixth and Elezra check-called a bet on seventh.
