Samokovski Doubles Through Razavi

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

A river all-in followed a 500,000 lead from Sam Razavi on a {9-Clubs}{j-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} board, which had been called by Simon Samokovski. The {6-Spades} had made Samokovski two pair, jacks and sixes, while Razavi had been betting ace-ten off for the up and down. Samokovski was saved from the short stack zone, up to 4,000,000.

Timothy Vukson Eliminated in 15th Place ($8,102)

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Timothy Vukson

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a flop of {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} Timothy Vukson check-raised all-in for somewhere in the neighborhood of 3,300,000 and after some thought, Raghav Bansal made the call.

Raghav Bansal: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Timothy Vukson: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Bansal was ahead with his pair of aces, and Vukson was looking for a diamond to make a flush, the {10-Clubs} on the turn and the {4-Hearts} on the river were no help though, knocking Vukson out of the tournament.

Tim Finne

Pot-Limit Omaha

Tim Finne opened from early position to 700,000 with about 400,000 behind. Dan Matsuzuki reraised the maximum and the action folded back around to Finne who quickly put the rest of his chips in the middle.

Tim Finne: {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Dan Matsuzuki: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} which was no help to Finne sending him to the payout desk.

Raymond Flora Eliminated in 20th Place ($6,495)

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Raymond Flora
Raymond Flora

Soon after his double (and after taking another pot with a preflop three-bet), Raymond Flora has busted in 20th. Luc Bellerive opened preflop to 350,000 and Flora re-raised to 920,000, his intentions clear with half a million behind. Bellerive set him in, and the deck had bad news for Flora's {a-}{a-}{x-}{x-}. Bellerive held {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}, which connected with the {7-}{8-}{j-} flop, and again on the {k-} turn for two pair. The {q-} river helped no one, and 19 players now remain.
