Sexton Doubles Through Klein

Level 19 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Mike Sexton raised to 18,000 on Loren Klein's big blind and Klein called.

"Short stack on short stack violence, huh?" Klein chuckled.

The flop fell {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Klein potted for 44,000. Sexton shoved for 47,000 and Klein threw in the extra few chips.

Klein had a pair of fives with {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Sexton showed {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

The {5-Clubs} turn gave Sexton a flush but Klein could still pull ahead should he hit a full house. The {7-Hearts} river, however, didn't improve Klein's hand and Sexton doubled.

Bohlman Doubles Through Hughes

Level 19 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Scott Bohlman's bid for back-to-back championships in the $2,500 Mixed Big Bet event is still alive after doubling up at the hands of Ryan Hughes.

In a heads-up pot, the action checked through on the turn, and the board read {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{a-Spades}{2-Spades} when the river hit. Hughes bet 27,000, Bohlman potted all in, and Hughes made the call.

Bohlman took it down with {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, and he's back in contention.

Hughes Quarters Bleznick in Large Pot

Level 19 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Jared Bleznick, sitting in the small blind, led out a pot-sized bet of 32,000 on a {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} turn and Ryan Hughes called on the button.

The river was the {2-Clubs} and Bleznick fired 70,000. Hughes paused for a moment and then announced a raise to 270,000. Bleznick called and Hughes declared nut-nut, showing {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a six-high straight and a wheel.

Bleznick turned up {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and studied the board and Hughes' hand, visibly upset.

"What am I supposed to do here?" he asked with frustration in his tone. Nonetheless, he had to give up 156,000 of his chips as Hughes took three-quarters of the pot.

Klein Doubles Through Depa

Level 19 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

No-Limit Five-Card Draw

Jonathan Depa and Loren Klein were in the blinds, and the action folded around to Depa in the small. Klein, with just 50,000 remaining, told Depa that he really needed to get a walk in the hand.

Depa instead raised to put Klein at risk, and Klein called. Depa drew three and Klein drew one.

Jonathan Depa: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Loren Klein: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Klein was holding two pair tens and threes pre-draw, and his hand held up and he's still hanging on.

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Arhur Morris raised to 15,000 on his button and David Benyamine called in the big blind.

They went to a {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop and all the chips went into the middle as Benyamine checked, Morris bet 30,000, and a sequence of potting and repotting resulted in a showdown with more than a 500,000-pot to race for.

Morris: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Benyamine: {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}

The rest of the board ran out {2-Spades} and {q-Clubs} and Morris scooped the massive pot, busting Benyamine in 11th place.
