Foxen Calls Down Ryynanen, Busts

Level 16 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Sampo Ryynanen fired three shells on the board of {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and Alex Foxen called all of the bets including the final one for all his remaining chips. Ryynanen flopped a full house with {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Foxen couldn't beat his hand.

Meanwhile, Ian O'Hara busted on a different table.

Baker Eliminated by Morris in Largest Pot of the Tournament

Level 15 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
David "Bakes" Baker

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

With action caught following the first draw, Arthur Morris fired 15,000 into 17,000 from the small blind. David "Bakes" Baker potted for 62,000 from the cutoff, and Morris paused for a while. He asked how much did Baker have behind and Baker counted his exact remaining stack at 63,700.

After over a minute, Morris jammed and Baker snap-called.

Morris stood pat, Baker drew one and he still needed one on the final draw.

"Eight-seven perfect," Morris announced, rolling over {8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Baker opened {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}, drawing to a wheel. He peeled an {8-}, however, and that wasn't enough.

Morris dragged the gigantic pot while Baker was headed to the payouts. Morris is now an overwhelming chip leader with around 385,000.

Big Stacks Collide

Level 15 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Loren Klein and Jonathan Depa both sit at around 200,000 chips, with Depa taking down some of Klein's pile in a PLO pot.

With the flop showing {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, Depa checked from the big blind, and Klein fired out for 13,000 from the button. Depa put in the check-raise and bet pot, making it 59,000 total, with about 120,000 chips behind.

Klein tanked for a few moments before folding, asking Depa to show a card. Depa obliged, turning over the {j-Diamonds}.

Williams Records His Bustout

Level 15 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

On a turn reading {j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, David Williams and David Benyamine got their chips in with Williams at risk.

Williams: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Benyamine: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Williams asked the dealer to wait a few seconds so he could get his phone ready. He started recording as the dealer rolled out the {9-Hearts} river, filling Benyamine's flush draw.

Williams exited and he was followed by Hye Park shortly thereafter, bringing the remaining field to 24 players.

Benyamine Pulls in a Big One

Level 15 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

With at least 30,000 already in the pot, David Benyamine and Alex Foxen arrived at the river on a {5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds} runout. Whatever action led up to the big pot came to a halt in the final betting round, as Foxen checked from the small blind. Benyamine looked like he was thinking about putting in one more bet, but decided to check back.

Benyamine took the pot, showing {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the king-high straight.

Schulman Out After Drawing Pair

Level 15 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Draw

Nick Schulman was all in for 27,200 and Joey Couden looked him up. Both players peeled one and Schulman had a better draw with {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-} as Couden drew to a ten-nine. Schulman, however, peeled an eight and he stood up, knowing Couden would have to pair a nine or a ten to lose the hand. Couden finished with {10-}{9-}{8-}{5-}{3-} and Schulman's tournament run was ended right there.
