Alexey Makarov
Alexey Makarov

Following a button raise to 1,200, Melad Marji three-bet the small blind to 4,000.

From the big blind, Alexey Makarov four-bet to 12,000. The button folded, but Marji called as the flop landed {7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

Marji checked, and Makarov bet 8,600, and Marji folded.

Small Pot for Giannetti

Level 2 : 200/400, 0 ante

In the last hand before the break, Gavin Cochrane raised to 1,400 first to act and picked up two callers in the blinds including Matt Giannetti. The flop of {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} was checked and Giannetti was the only one to call a bet of 1,400 by the small blind on the {2-Hearts} turn. No betting action followed on the {4-Diamonds} river and Giannetti won the pot with {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{x-Hearts}.

"That's The Prahlad I Know"

Level 2 : 200/400, 0 ante

Picking up the action on the {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, Prahlad Friedman checked out of the small blind and called a bet of 6,000 by Tom Hu on the button. The {j-Spades} fell on the turn and Friedman check-called another bet of 14,000 to see the {9-Diamonds} river.

Friedman now bet the pot for 49,600 and that sent Hu into the think tank. Eventually, the call followed and Friedman rolled over {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} which Hu had beat with the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} for the nut flush.

"That's the Prahlad I know," Roger Teska on the same table said with a big smile on the face.

Flush for Bastian

Level 2 : 200/400, 0 ante

Kyle Bowker raised to 800 from late position, and both the hijack and Matt Giannetti in the cutoff called, as did Sebastian Bastian from the big blind.

The flop landed {6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, and action checked to the hijack who bet 3,200.

Giannetti folded, but Bastian called as Bowker folded.

The turn fell the {8-Clubs}, and Bastian again checked. The hijack bet 4,600, and Bastian called before both players checked the {a-Diamonds} on the river.

The hijack revealed his {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Spades} for aces-up, but Bastien tabled his {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a flush to collect the pot.

Van Hoof Busts Feinstein

Level 2 : 200/400, 0 ante
Jorryt van Hoof

The floor was called over to table 427 as apparently a card had been burned twice with action on the {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades} turn already done and 75,000 in the middle. Once the floorman and the players agreed which the correct river card would be, the {q-Clubs} was revealed and Jorryt van Hoof bet enough to give Darin Feinstein the option to fold or call all in for the last 35,000.

Feinstein made the call and Van Hoof had the nuts with {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Feinstein briefly showed {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{x-} to become the second casualty of the day.

Snead Chips Up

Level 2 : 200/400, 0 ante

On a four-way flop of {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, the action checked to Chris Hunichen on the button and his small bet was called by Michael Kamran in the small blind. Mohsin Virani in the big blind folded and Sam Sneid made the call in the cutoff. The {9-Hearts} turn was checked and Kamran bet the {10-Diamonds} river for 5,500.

Snead raised to 15,000 to see Hunichen fold instantly, and Kamran folded as well to get shown the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} by Snead.

Flush for Yahyaei

Level 2 : 200/400, 0 ante

On a board of {2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Spades} with 6,600 in the middle, Majid Yahyaei bet out 5,500 from the big blind.

Yahyaei's opponent in middle position called, and when Yahyaei tabled his {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a flush, he folded.
