Seidel Takes It on the Flop

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Ben Tollerene raised to 70,000 first to act and was called three ways by Ka Kwan Lau in the hijack, Erik Seidel on the button and Lion Boulos in the big blind. On the {a-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, action checked to Tollerene and he continued for 75,000. Lau called and Seidel raised the pot to 595,000 total in order to claim the pot right there.

Smith Doubles Through Korkis; Seidel Hands Over Chips to Chidwick

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

Erik Seidel had checked a {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{j-Spades} river to Stephen Chidwick who had bet 475,000. Seidel was thinking for a couple of minutes before calling, but was shown {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} for a full house and the eight-time bracelet winner mucked.

Meanwhile, Dan Smith had shoved a {4-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop for just under 200,000 chips. His opponent was Wasim Korkis who thought before calling.

Dan Smith: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Wasim Korkis: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The {9-Diamonds} turn gave Korkis a straight draw but the {7-Spades} river bricked and Smith's aces held to double up.

Pots for Chen and Astedt

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Firas Sadou has been seemingly involved in almost every pot and managed to take bites out of the big stacks of Anson Tsang and James Chen. The latter just struck back in a battle small blind versus button. The completed board showed {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Spades} and Chen led for 375,000.

"No worries, I am not going to raise," Sadou said and eventually folded, claiming to have let go of a flush.

"You think I don't look like a guy that folds a flush?" Sadou added.

One table over, Alex Epstein took another hit to his stack and again it was Niklas Astedt that racked up the chips in the end.

The turn showed {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Epstein had a bet of 325,000 in front. Astedt moved all in for 1,040,000 and a reluctant fold of Epstein followed.

Astedt flashed the {k-Hearts}, Epstein nodded and Astedt then added "I had you, good fold."

Heritsch Out-Flopped to Bust; Four Tables Remain

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Michael Heritsch
Michael Heritsch

There was an opened to 75,000 before Wasim Korkis raised to 215,000. Michael Heritsch then raised to 765,000. The initial raiser folded and after a serious tank, Korkis raised and Heritsch was all in.

Michael Heritsch: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Wasim Korkis: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}

"God damn," said Heritsch as the flop {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} gave Korkis the nut straight. Heritsch was drawing dead on the {2-Diamonds} turn and the river was the {j-Diamonds}.

Steely and Beckman Eliminated

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Jason Beckman
Jason Beckman

Chase Steely was eliminated by Benoit Galland when the {j-}{j-}{10-}{4-} for flopped two pair by Galland held up in three-way action.

Shortly after, the next short stack ended up all in and it was Jason Beckman that was at risk for 90,000 on the button. Robert Mizrachi called in the big blind to see the following showdown.

Jason Beckman: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Robert Mizrachi: {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}

"That's the worst hand," Mizrachi joked but picked up a ton of outs on the {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop. On the {a-Hearts} turn, Mizrachi inquired if they could switch to Omaha Hi-Lo, and instantly improved on the {9-Clubs} river to send Beckman to the rail.

Eddie Ochana
Eddie Ochana

Eddie Ochana raised from early position and was called by Erik Seidel in the big blind. On a flop of {q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Seidel check-raised from 85,000 to 180,000 and Ochana called with 255,000 behind. The {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Seidel checked the stack of Ochana before making it 300,000 to go.

Ochana reluctantly called all in and the cards were turned over.

Eddie Ochana: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Erik Seidel: {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

The {3-Hearts} river further improved Seidel to a full house and Ochana headed to the rail to collect $37,365 for his efforts.

Smith Doubles on River

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Dan Smith got his last 190,000 chips in pre-flop with {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} against the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts} of Alex Epstein.

Smith flopped two pair on the [ksq4c] flop and Epstein picked up a flush draw on the {6-Spades} turn.

Epstein thought he'd gotten there on the {4-Spades} river, but that only improved Smith to a full house and he doubled up.

Astedt Takes Some More

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Alex Epstein check-folded to a bet of 500,000 by Wasim Korkis on a {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs} turn right after the action kicked off and was just now spotted with a button raise to 75,000. Korkis called and Niklas Astedt in the big blind three-bet to 300,000. Epstein folded and Korkis eventually called.

The {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop was checked by Korkis and Astedt bet 100,000 to win the pot right there.
