Taylor Flops a Full; Sinishtaj Doubles

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Esther Taylor
Esther Taylor

Robert Mizrachi raised to 100,000 first to act and was called by Gjergj Sinishtaj, Firas Sadou in the small blind and Esther Taylor in the big blind. On the {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, Sadou bet 210,000 and Taylor was the only caller.

Sadou gave up the pot by checking the {8-Spades} turn and {4-Hearts} river, even saying in table chat "just bet and you win". Taylor min-bet the river and Sadou open-folded {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{x-Spades}.

"I don't have jacks," Taylor said and rolled over {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a flopped full house.

Sinishtaj became short in that hand but doubled through Ryan Tosoc soon after when his {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flopped trips sixes against {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} on a board of {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

Krentzman and Epstein Trading Chips

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Evan Krentzman raised to 175,000 on the button and Alex Epstein made the call in the big blind. On the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop both players checked and the {4-Clubs} followed on the turn. Epstein checked and called a bet of 125,000 to check through a {5-Hearts} on the river again.

Epstein announced ace-king and Krentzman rolled over {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for the remaining three aces in the deck.

One hand later, Krentzman made it 125,000 to go in the cutoff and Epstein flat-called out of the small blind. Epstein bet the {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop and Krentzman folded with the words "that's a good flop for you."

While Epstein dragged in the pot, he replied with a "theoretically, anyways."

On a {6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop James Chen checked out of the blinds to Matthew Schreiber who bet 75,000. Chen then check-raised to 490,000 and Schreiber called.

Chen announced pot on the {10-Diamonds} turn and Schreiber went deep into the tank with 610,000 behind.

"Sorry guys," he said. "One minute."

And then: "I don't have a big hand."

Eventually, he called with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and was drawing dead against the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}. The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Schreiber was eliminated.

Tosoc Doubles Through Guerra

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Ryan Tosoc
Ryan Tosoc

The action started with a raise to 125,000 by Ryan Tosoc in the cutoff and Lautaro Guerra on the button three-bet to 450,000, which Tosoc called. On a flop of {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}, Tosoc checked with 290,000 behind and Guerra eyed his stack before betting 400,000 and Tosoc almost beat him into the pot.

Ryan Tosoc: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Lautero Guerra: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Tosoc only needed to avoid running cards and locked up the double on the {q-Spades} turn, which made the {q-Clubs} river a formality.

One for Taylor; Chidwick Jams Into Lau

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Ka Kwan Lau had lost some of his profit in the final hand of the previous level, sending a portion of his stack back to Alex Epstein.

Soon after the restart, Lau raised to 130,000 in late position and Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 465,000 in the hijack. Lau called after some consideration and check-folded the {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop to the shove of Chidwick for 700,000.

One table over, Esther Taylor bet the {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop for 175,000 and Robert Mizrachi called. They checked the {2-Hearts} turn and a bet of 100,000 by Taylor on the {10-Hearts} river forced a fold from Mizrachi.

"Come on, do it," Taylor grinned and both showed their cards. Taylor revealed the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a full house and Mizrachi mucked a wrap that included the {10-Diamonds}.
