Imsirovic Continues His Slide

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

It has not been a good day for Ali Imsirovic, who has lost around half of the chips he started the day with.

In his latest outing, Johannes Becker bet 60,000 on a {q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and Imsirovic raised in position to 130,000. Becker called.

The pair checked the {5-Hearts} turn and Becker bet 215,000 on the {6-Hearts} river.

Imsirovic counted out the chips to call, before using a time extension. He eventually folded.

Aces for Lewis in a Massive Pot

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action folded to Barry Hutter on the button who opted to just limp in. Toby Lewis raised to 56,000 in the small blind and Isaac Haxton three-bet shoved all in for 156,000 in the big blind. Hutter then re-jammed all in and Lewis quickly called off his stack of 283,000.

Toby Lewis: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Barry Hutter: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Isaac Haxton: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Lewis was in a prime position to collect a healthy pot with the best hand in poker. The board ran out {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Lewis' pocket aces held on to eliminate Haxton and double through Hutter.

Miracle Flop for Kornuth

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

The action folded to Chance Kornuth who raised it up on the button. Igor Kurganov three-bet to 126,000 in the big blind and Kornuth called to see a flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Kurganov just ripped all in for around 400,000 and Kornuth wasted little time before making the call. Kornuth instantly tabled {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Kurganov was drawing slim with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}.

The {j-Spades} paired the board on the turn which gave Kurganov some outs but the {5-Hearts} on the river was not meant to be as Kornuth collected a chip-leading pot.

Kempe's Big Slick is No Good

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Elias Talvitie opened to 25,000 from under the gun and Sean Winter called from the hijack. Rainer Kempe slid out a three-bet of around 300,000 for nearly his entire stack. Talvitie quickly folded but Winter announced all in which Kempe instantly called.

Sean Winter: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Rainer Kempe: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

In a classic coin flip, the flop came {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} which left Kempe grasping at straws. The {9-Clubs} on the turn and the {2-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Kempe was forced to the rail.

Lewis Under Ten Big Blinds

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board, Eric Wasserson checked to Toby Lewis who bet 55,000. Wasserson then check-raised all in for 139,000 and Lewis called.

Wasserson showed {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a rivered flush and Lewis was forced to turn over {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}.

Left with 43,000, he moved all in from early position. It folded around to Erik Seidel in the big blind who smiled as he contemplated his decision. Eventually, he called.

Erik Seidel: {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Toby Lewis: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Lewis eventually held on the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{k-Hearts} runout despite Seidel turning a flush draw. The table laughed as Lewis raked in the pot.

Hallaert Can't Dodge the River

Level 10 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Kenney Hallaert was looking to make a comeback for the ages after being down to just 2,000 chips and he was all in again for 63,000 in early position. Ali Imsirovic three-bet on the button which forced out both of the blinds.

Ali Imsirovic: {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Kenny Hallaert: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Hallaert's pair of fours were still in the lead. The {6-Spades} on the turn was also safe but the river brought the {8-Spades} which connected with Imsirovic.

Clark Doubles Through Loeser

Level 9 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Tobias Ziegler opened to 22,000 from the cutoff and Manig Loeser flat-called on the button. Zach Clark was in the small blind and pushed all in for around 140,000. Ziegler folded and Loeser quickly called to put Clark at risk.

Zach Clark: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Manig Loeser: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

It was a coin flip that saw Clark take the lead on the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop. The {4-Clubs} and {4-Diamonds} runout was no help to Loeser but the double up hardly put a dent in his stack.
