The flop was {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Daniel Negreanu was tapping on the floor with both of his feet. He bet 1,000 and Kahle Burns, who had checked to Negreanu, asked him what the tapping was about. ''I'm excited!'' Negreanu replied. Burns called to see the turn.

The {9-Diamonds} came down on the turn and Burns checked to Negreanu again who now fired a bet of 3,800. Burns now raised to 15,200 and Negreanu called.

The {2-Spades} completed the board and both checked. Burns said ''top two'' and showed {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} but he mucked his other two cards when Negreanu showed {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} for the flush.

Liu Ousts Hachem

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante
Sasha Liu in a previous event

Sasha Liu checked a {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board from the big blind, and 2005 WSOP Main Event champ Joe Hachem bet 18,000 from the cutoff. Liu potted it to put Hachem in for his last 33,000, and he called after a moment in the tank.

Joe Hachem: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}
Sasha Liu: {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

Liu's eight-high straight was ahead of Hachem's seven-high straight, but Hachem could still hit a spade to avoid elimination. The {q-Hearts} river was safe for Liu, and Hachem wished her luck as he exited the tournament area.

Laplante and Barbero Mix It Up

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Ryan Laplante, who owns a WSOP bracelet from 2016's Event #12: $565 Pot Limit Omaha, checked a {j-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop in the big blind, and Jose "Nacho" Barbero bet 1,200 from under the gun. An opponent in the cutoff called, as did Laplante.

Action checked through the {a-Diamonds} turn, and Laplante checked the {a-Hearts} river. Barbero bet 4,200 and the cutoff quickly folded. Laplante took a few beats before folding as well.

"Awful turn card," Laplante told Barbero after the hand.

Yockey Raises, Takes It

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player in the hijack bet 1,300 into a pot of 2,000 facing a {7-Spades}{a-Hearts}{8-Spades} board, and the cutoff raised to 4,600.

Bryce Yockey, who won his lone WSOP bracelet in the 2017 $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, cut out a three-bet to 14,000 and tossed it in the pot, quickly chasing off the hijack. The cutoff didn't take much longer to get out of the way as well, and Yockey took down the pot.

Sasha Liu sat in middle position when Cole Jackson raised under the gun to 600. She called and the other players at the table got out of the way, including 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event winner Joe Hachem.

The {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop was dealt and both players checked. The turn was the {k-Spades} and Jackson bet 1,100. Liu called again and the river was the {q-Hearts}.

Both checked and Jackson quickly showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{x-}{x-} while Liu won the hand with {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{x-}{x-}.
