Bohlman Bests Bennani

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

On a three-way turn of {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}, Scott Bohlman checked and Shawn Bennani beet 43,000 from one seat over. Sylvain Loosli in the cutoff called and Bohlman opted to check-raise for the size of the pot, for more than 270,000.

Bennani was covered by that and tank-called all in, Loosli folded.

"Do you have a set of kings?" Bennani said and Bohlman rolled over {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for top set and the nut flush draw. Bennani sighed and flipped over his {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for middle set first, indicating that he was drawing dead already. His {j-Spades}{8-Clubs} were also revealed and the {7-Clubs} river further improved Bohlman.

"Look at all the spots he is getting today, ridiculous," another player at the table remarked.

Sasha Liu bet 40,000 from the small blind on a {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop, and Phil Galfond committed his last 30,500 in the big blind. Ryan D'Angelo raised enough to put Liu in for her last 48,000, and Liu ducked out of the way.

Phil Galfond: {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Ryan D'Angelo: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

"Wrap?" D'Angelo said.

Galfond bricked his straight draw on the {6-Clubs} turn and {10-Clubs} river, and D'Angelo scooped in the last of Galfond's chips.

Randall Emmett
Randall Emmett

On a flop of {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Randall Emmett and Kahle Burns got into a rasing war and Burns eventually piled in a stack to put Emmett at risk for 131,000 in total.

Randall Emmett: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Kahle Burns: {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The {a-Diamonds} turn improved Emmett to superior two pair and the {3-Hearts} river was a blank.

"Back to the drawing board," Burns added as he cut out the exact chips.

MacIntyre Eliminated

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Fraser MacIntyre headed to the rail after his {a-}{10-}{9-}{2-} ended up second best to Vladimir Shchemelev. An ace-high board with three spades was rushed away and MacIntyre explained that he had flopped two pair only for Shchemelev to hit running spades for a flush.

Connor Drinan

Thomas Hueber jammed for 46,000 from the big blind on a {4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{k-Spades} flop, and Connor Drinan made the call from the cutoff.

Thomas Hueber: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Connor Drinan: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Drinan couldn't improve his pair of fives and a gutshot on the {9-Hearts} turn and {8-Spades} river, and Hueber's aces were good for the double.

Zamani Gets a Sweet Double

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

With 120,000 already in the pot, Martin Zamani jammed for 77,500 on a {9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} board, and James Mordue was in the tank on the button.

"You got queen-jack of diamonds?" Mordue asked Zamani, who responded, "Nope." Mordue called shortly after.

Martin Zamani: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
James Mordue: {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Mordue had straight and flush draws against the set of Zamani. After the {j-Clubs} fell on the river, Zamani asked, "Does he have a queen?"

"Nope."

"Sweet." Zamani said, and his rivered straight was good for the double.
