Kessler got out of the way and Akkari mucked his hand when he was shown {7-}{4-}{2-} to make an eighty-seven for his opponent. He got up from his chair and was heading for the rail shortly after.

Shanahan continued with a bet when he caught a seven and the third player in the hand folded. Owen called the bet and he called another on fifth street. Shanahan check-called a bet on sixth but he check-folded on seventh.

Owen has had a great start and is already up to about 42,000 chips.
