Hands #150-151: Team Geiger Hits Trips, Team Smith Doubles Up

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Hand #150: Jerod Smith raised to 300,000 in the small blind and Daniel Dayan of Team Geiger defended his big blind. They both checked through the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop to the {5-Hearts} on the turn. Smith bet 250,000 which Dayan called. The river completed the board with the {a-Hearts}. Smith now checked and Dayan bet 750,000. Smith took a few seconds before making the call but mucked when Dayan tabled {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the trip aces.

Hand #151: Smith raised to 250,000 from the button and John Hinds three-bet to 825,000 in the big blind. Smith shoved for 2,770,000 and Hinds snap-called.

Team Smith: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Team Hinds: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades} for them both to hit a straight on the river but Smith had the higher one and doubled up.
