Ivey and Wood Going Opposite Directions

Level 14 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Matthew Wood opened from the button and Phil Ivey defended his big blind. Ivey drew one and Wood traded two. Ivey then check-called a continuation-bet from Wood.

On the second draw, Ivey took one and Wood stood pat. Ivey check-called again. Final draws again went one and pat and both players checked the river.

"Ten-eight," announced Wood.

Ivey turned over {10-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and won the pot with his ten-seven.

Level 14 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Brian Hastings
Brian Hastings

Stud Hi-Lo

Brian Hastings got his last chips in on sixth street against Adam Friedman.

"You're ahead right now," Friedman told Hastings. "I got aces and a wheel draw."

Brian Hastings: {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} / {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Adam Friedman: {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades} / {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Hastings spiked his last card up on the felt, but the {9-Hearts} didn't improve his tens-up any further. Friedman turned over the {4-Hearts} to complete his wheel, and Hastings and Friedman wished each other luck before Hastings made his leave.

Mizrachi Outkicks Friedman

Level 13 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Robert Mizrachi opened from the hijack and Adam Friedman called in the big blind. The flop came {7-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Friedman checked. Mizrachi fired a continuation-bet and Friedman called. The turn was {6-Clubs} and Friedman check-called another bet from Mizrachi. The river was {10-Spades} and both players checked.

"Ace-high," Friedman said.

Mizrachi tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} to show the nut-no pair and Friedman nodded as he pushed his cards forward to the muck.

Limit Hold'em

Matthew Wood bet from the big blind on a {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} board, only to be met with a raise from Adam Friedman in the cutoff. Wood made it three bets, and Friedman called.

Wood bet one final time on the {9-Clubs} river, and Friedman looked unhappy, but made the call regardless. Wood tabled {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a busted flush and straight draw.

"King-high?" Friedman said upon seeing Wood's hand. He then tabled his {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for the winner.

In a four-bet pot preflop, action checked through a {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop, and Phil Galfond bet from the small blind when the {k-Clubs} fell on the turn. Isaac Haxton raised in the big blind, and Chris Vitch folded on the button. Galfond called.

Galfond check-called one final bet on the {3-Spades} river, and Haxton turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a wheel and a seven-high straight. Galfond mucked.
