Trincher and Wood Eliminated

Level 14 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

According to Adam Friedman, Matthew Wood was eliminated after Friedman raised with {a-}{2-}{5-}{5-} and got Wood's stack in on a flop of {4-}{3-}{2-} with two clubs. Wood had {q-}{j-}{9-}{7-} with two clubs and two spades and the turn and river came {q-}{7-}, giving him two pair but not enough to overcome Friedman's wheel as he was eliminated from the tournament.

Illya Trincher was also recently eliminated from the tournament after being short stacked for over an hour prior to busting.

Nine Good For Haxton

Level 14 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Phil Hui raised from under the gun and action folded to Isaac Haxton who called from the small blind. The two went heads up to the first draw where Haxton took one and Hui two. Haxton then check-called Hui's continuation-bet.

Second draws went one and one and Haxton led out after. Hui called. Haxton stood pat on the final draw and Hui traded one again. Haxton bet out after the final draw and Hui looked him up.

Haxton announced a ninety-five, tabling {9-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Hui mucked as Haxton raked in the pot.

Galfond and Vitch Chop One

Level 14 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Chris Vitch opened action with a raise from the button and was three-bet by Phil Galfond in the small blind. Vitch called and both players drew two. After the draw, Galfond fired a continuation-bet and Vitch raised. Galfond made the call and proceeded to take one card on the second draw while Vitch stood pat behind him.

After the second draw, Galfond checked. Vitch bet and Galfond made the call. Both players stood pat on the final draw and checked through to showdown.

Galfond announced an eight and tabled {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}. Vitch told him that he had the same hand, turning his five cards over to confirm as the two chopped the pot.

Deeb Has It, Until He Doesn't

Level 14 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Shaun Deeb: {x-}{x-} / {4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs} / {x-}
Matthew Ashton: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}
John Hennigan: {x-}{x-} / {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{k-Spades} / {x-}

There was already 300,000 in the pot on fourth street, and action checked through fifth street. On sixth street, Deeb checked his pair of tens, and Ashton bet. Hennigan and Deeb both called.

Action checked through seventh street, and Deeb said, "I got it," tabling {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a flush. To the shock of the table, Ashton turned up {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for a full house. Hennigan flashed {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} from his hand before mucking.

"You can't be too careful in this game," Lyle Berman told the table with a chuckle.

Martin Gets The Right Man Out to Double

Level 14 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Adam Friedman raised to 20,000 on the button, and Jesse Martin three-bet shoved for 111,000 in the small blind. Robert Mizrachi quickly called in the big blind, prompting Friedman to flash {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and say, "Pretty quick call, eh?" before folding.

Jesse Martin: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Robert Mizrachi: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Martin found the last two jacks in the deck on the {5-Hearts}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop, and Mizrachi failed to find a ten on the {q-Clubs} turn or {a-Hearts} river. Meanwhile, Friedman could only grin at the board, as his ace-jack ended up making a full house.
