Friedman Gets it In

Level 14 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Michael Glick opened to 24,000 from the hijack, Prahlad Friedman three-bet to 76,000 from the big blind and Glick called after some thought.

On the {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, Friedman shoved all in for 87,000 and Glick folded after agonizing over it for a few moments.

Deeb Has It, Until He Doesn't

Level 14 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Shaun Deeb: {x-}{x-} / {4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs} / {x-}
Matthew Ashton: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}
John Hennigan: {x-}{x-} / {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{k-Spades} / {x-}

There was already 300,000 in the pot on fourth street, and action checked through fifth street. On sixth street, Deeb checked his pair of tens, and Ashton bet. Hennigan and Deeb both called.

Action checked through seventh street, and Deeb said, "I got it," tabling {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a flush. To the shock of the table, Ashton turned up {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for a full house. Hennigan flashed {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} from his hand before mucking.

"You can't be too careful in this game," Lyle Berman told the table with a chuckle.

Second draws went one and one and Haxton led out after. Hui called. Haxton stood pat on the final draw and Hui traded one again. Haxton bet out after the final draw and Hui looked him up.

Haxton announced a ninety-five, tabling {9-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Hui mucked as Haxton raked in the pot.

Trincher and Wood Eliminated

Level 14 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

According to Adam Friedman, Matthew Wood was eliminated after Friedman raised with {a-}{2-}{5-}{5-} and got Wood's stack in on a flop of {4-}{3-}{2-} with two clubs. Wood had {q-}{j-}{9-}{7-} with two clubs and two spades and the turn and river came {q-}{7-}, giving him two pair but not enough to overcome Friedman's wheel as he was eliminated from the tournament.

Illya Trincher was also recently eliminated from the tournament after being short stacked for over an hour prior to busting.
