In a head's up pot, the board showed {4-Clubs}{j-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} when John Phan check-raised to 11,000 a bet from his opponent of 4,500. The latter called.

The river brought the {3-Hearts} and Phan sent a bet of 15,000. His opponent called once more but only to see {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} in Phan's hand.
